Fox News reporter Dan Springer has told Sky News Australia the departure of the Seattle Police from the Capitol Hill precinct effectively allowed a large rally to transform into an occupation of the area by armed protesters. Following the takeover of the precinct the ANTIFA radicals created an entire zone and the Seattle police retreated
ANTIFA dubbed the area “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” or CHAZ.
Earlier in the week, the media was flooded with headlines declaring that ANTIFA was not involved with the protests and Trump was totally wrong in regards to high level organizing of the supposed anti Fascist movement at the George Floyd protests .
The governor of Washington seemed to have no issue with an act of possible insurrection and attacked President Trump for offering assistance to quell this unlawful activity instead ; essentially abandoning the police force of Seattle and relinquishing a part of their city to armed radicals.
The NY Times reported:
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said Thursday he “will not allow… threats of military violence against Washingtonians coming from the White House” after President Donald Trump a day earlier threatened to “take back” Seattle from protesters.
Inslee also appeared to tacitly defend the occupied area on Capitol Hill. This is simply astonishing.
“I spoke with [Mayor Jenny Durkan] and her team about the situation on Capitol Hill,” Inslee tweeted. “Although unpermitted, and we should remember we are still in a pandemic, the area is largely peaceful. Peaceful protests are fundamentally American, and I am hopeful there will be a peaceful resolution.”
The protesters forced an entire police prescient to vacate their building and reports from social media indicate have been acts of armed security extorting people of money in order to cross into their claimed area, CHAZ
It seems apparent Inslee has abandoned the police and has no control of the situation whatsoever.
