On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the local community leaders and leadership of the New York City Police Department gathered for an evening of recognition and camaraderie at Bordeaux Steakhouse. The appreciation dinner, hosted by Rabbi Jay Levy, NYPD Clergy Liaison for the 63rd Precinct and Senior Rabbi of the Mill Basin Sephardic Congregation, honored two distinguished members of the department: Chaplain Manes Kogan, celebrating his recent appointment as an NYPD Chaplain, and Chief Mark Molinari, marking his promotion to the rank of Chief.

The event served as a powerful bridge between law enforcement and civic leadership, bringing together a prestigious group of community figures and high-ranking police officials.
