Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon to Take Place on Friday; 40K People Expected to Participate

The Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon will take place on Friday, February 24th. It is a leading sport event taking place in one of the most exciting Mediterranean cities. Tel Aviv is among the leading metropolitan attractions in the world, integrating one of the most ancient port cities, Jaffa, with vibrant modern Tel Aviv. The city is a fascinating urban mixture of east and west, uniquely rich in culture, business and entertainment.
The Tel Aviv Marathon is a multi-course event allowing runners in all levels and styles to take part. It is a yearly citywide celebration designed for professional long-distance runners as well as beginners.
With a series of running events including a full marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km run, as well as 42km hand cycle race for people with special needs, the marathon day will be full of action as participants will see some of the greatest sites of this beautiful city. The Tel Aviv Marathon will give runners a unique perspective over the city, with the course starting from the Tel Aviv Convention Center, continuing to the boardwalk and along the Mediterranean shore. The run continues through the ancient and fascinating port city of Jaffa. The marathon will take off at Rokach Boulevard, and forty thousand people from around the world are expected to participate.
