Hi there, President of France. For a moment it seemed to us that you were a friend. For a moment it seemed that you understood that Hamas is a common enemy. After all, just less than three weeks ago you were in Israel, and you declared that “Hamas is a terrorist organization whose goal is the destruction of Israel like the terrorist goal of ISIS…The first thing for you, for France and for every democracy in the world, is to defeat these terrorist organizations. We, who have suffered from global terrorism, come to tell you a simple thing – you are not alone.” You even proposed forming an “international coalition against Hamas,” stressing that “the struggle must be merciless.”
So what happened? How is it that suddenly “there is no justification for bombings”? Of course, we would prefer to send flowers to Hamas, end the closure, lead an international effort to make life in the Gaza Strip more comfortable. We would like the billions that reached Hamas to be invested in welfare, education, health, and not death tunnels. But you know, as we all know, and as you stated, that “Hamas is ISIS.” And you know that the international community has offered Hamas everything that can be offered to end the closure and help the residents of the Gaza Strip. But Hamas rejected all the proposals. You choose life, said one Hamas leaders, and we choose death.
So what the hell are you talking about? You can understand a young person watching only Al Jazeera. But you? Don’t you know? It’s not that we Israelis don’t want a ceasefire. We don’t want fire in the first place. We don’t want bloodshed. We prefer happy neighbors. But you know that wherever radical Islam is dominated, the one and only result is bloodshed. After all, French soldiers have been in Mali in recent years, As part of Operation Barkhan, in order to uproot the jihadists who are taking over more and more areas. Although 53 French soldiers were killed, and nearly 3,000 of the enemies were killed, you failed. You’ve been kicked out. You folded your tail and returned to France. But we can’t fail. We have nowhere to go.
So what exactly do you offer us? Stop the killing? Howdy. But can you tell us exactly how to eradicate the cancer of jihad when it hides among the civilian population? After all, Fathi Hamad, one of the Hamas leaders, declared: “We use women and children as human shields.”
Nevertheless, a ceasefire is an excellent idea, on one condition – that it prevents unnecessary harm to human life. But there’s a problem. As far as Hamas is concerned, as Mushir al-Masr, a senior member of the terrorist organization, clarified: “It means preparation for the next campaign. Our resistance will continue to fill and develop arsenals and produce surprising new components for future systems.” So what do you say, Monsieur Macron?
Maybe, just maybe, dear president, you can remind us whether you proposed a ceasefire when coalition counterterrorism planes bombed Mosul and Raqqa when those cities were under ISIS control? You know that the destruction there was much greater than the destruction of Gaza. So what right do you have to make a statement that is all hypocrisy and double standards?
As soon as Hamas embarked on the largest terrorist act in Israel’s history, which included the atrocities that ISIS doubtfully committed, it knew that Israel would respond. He knew that the people of Gaza would suffer a terrible price. He knew that despite the horrors, a coalition of Islamists and radical leftists would take to the streets. He knew that hatred of Israel would only grow. And he knew something else, that it was only a matter of time before one of the leaders of the West gave in to pressure, and will demand a ceasefire to save Hamas. That’s his weapon. This is his salvation. And you didn’t even propose the most basic condition for a ceasefire: the release of the hostages. So yes, Hamas is sending you flowers. Because your statement serves only and only the most vile murderers since the Nazis. Murderers who declare that they want to destroy Israel and Jews and Christians and take over the West.
In recent years you have had countless statements against anti-Semitism, which is also emerging and growing in France. Wonderful. But in one statement you poured gasoline on the fire of anti-Semitism. When you declare that Israel is “killing women and children,” you are personally responsible for the rise of anti-Semitism. And if there is murder on French soil, on the part of jihad, your hands have spilled this blood. And you should already know that those who aid murderous jihad receive no discount. After all, it never ends only with Jews. And when there will be another mass killing, like the November 2015 attacks in Bataclan – it will happen because of you, too. And if Israel surrenders to terror, the price will be paid by the entire free world.
We, Macron, prefer to listen to the advice you gave us – to destroy Hamas mercilessly, and to reject with contempt, with disgust, your contrary statement, which both blames Israel and serves Hamas. And you know, as your security services know, that when jihad raises its head in Paris, Israel will be there to help France. No worries. When that happens, we will not demand a ceasefire with jihad from you.
