The man police believe to be responsible for violently kicking a woman in the chest, sending her falling down an escalator at a Brooklyn subway station, has been arrested, as was reported by NBCNewYork.com.

On Friday evening, NYC police arrested Bradley K. Hill, 32, and charged him with assault and attempted assault.

A video of the attack that took place on September 9th at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn, shows Hill going up the escalator at Barclays Center and then turning around to kick the victim in her chest, sending her tumbling down several feet of the narrow steps, as was reported by NBCNewYork.com

The victim, who does not want her name released, told NBC New York earlier this week: “There was someone that brushed past me, like pushed me to the side and it was this guy and I told him real quick, ‘say excuse me,'” She added: “He just kicked me out of nowhere. And I just came tumbling down the escalator, past everyone, all the way to the bottom floor.”

Hill did not respond to reporters’ questions about the surveillance video as police led him out of the stationhouse in handcuffs.

WABC7 reported that she suffered cuts and bruises to her back, arms, legs, right knee, right thigh and left ankle, but she declined medical attention.

The victim said the experience has left her traumatized.

“I’m lucky I’m not dead or unconscious but it could happen to somebody that runs into him,” the woman said.
