Melinda Gates began working on her divorce from Bill Gates in part over concerns with her husband’s dealings with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to several sources.

Will this newly unearthed connection, finally spell the end of the highly controversial software guru, investor, and philanthropist?

In fact, she began working with divorce lawyers in October 2019, when Bill Gates’ ties to the alleged sex trafficker of underage girls surfaced, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

Melinda Gates’ concerns about their marriage and her husband’s Epstein ties began in 2013, sources told the Journal.

The New York Times in October 2019 reported Bill Gates had met with Epstein several times, and once stayed late at his townhouse in New York. A spokeswoman for Gates said at the time that the meetings had centered on philanthropy. Epstein had died in jail two months prior while awaiting trial on federal charges related to sex trafficking.

The divorce was negotiated during the pandemic, involving legal teams working with a mediator to divide their fortune, which the Bloomberg Billionaires Index pegs at $145 billion, Newsmax reported.

The couple said recently they plan on remaining co-chairs of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and will continue to jointly lead. They have vowed to give away the vast majority of their wealth, Newsmax reported.

The Daily Beast reported that friends of the couple told the outlet that that Melinda is still haunted by the encounter with Epstein.

“He just was an obnoxious guy. He almost made a point of having bad manners, not paying attention at dinner,” a person told the Daily Beast. “I could see how anybody, even without suspicions, would not want to be around him.”

The New York Post summarized Daily Beast’s most important finding: the outlet reported that ties between Gates and Epstein were allegedly much deeper than the tech titan had admitted — and cited a New York Times report that said the two men met several times beginning in 2011, three years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl in Florida.

Bill Gates transformed himself after the disastrous Microsoft antitrust lawsuit in 1998, from a computer guru, who stole his ideas from Apple and tried to dominate the entire computer business via software bundling, to an expert on vaccinations, disease, and the environment. He is one of the most hated people in the world, with millions of theories surrounding his sometimes out in the open statements, where he has supported decreasing the world population, drawing skepticism and abhorrence from religious communities and “conspiracy theorists.”

Any story or video online featuring Gates, will result in thousands of negative comments. The media somehow protects the man’s image and portrays the man as a sagacious guru. Has the dam broken on Bill Gates? Will this be the end of endless newscasts and talks shows featuring Gates as a guest, expounding his alleged knowledge on everything from COVID to world population, or will Gates be back during the next world crisis offering his alleged expertise?
