Jenny from the Block has a new neighbor for her Hamptons home.
As reported by the NY Post’s Page Six, Alex Rodriguez has moved into a mansion in the Hamptons, only about a mile away from Jennifer Lopez’s home. A-rod, who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) , most lately for the New York Yankees, is rumored to possibly be renewing his romantic relationship with the famed singer.
A-Rod has rented a $5 million mansion this summer in Bridgehampton — just a 3 minute drive from Lopez’s home in Water Mill, in which they had enjoyed last summer together as a couple, along with their kids. They had been engaged at the time.
Rodriguez was seen in the Hamptons on Friday night, at dinner with staffers from his company A-Rod Corp at Sag Harbor restaurant Le Bilboquet. A witness told the Post, “Alex had a long dinner on Friday with two women and his nephew Nick Silva. A very attractive brunette at his table turned some heads at the packed restaurant, with some wondering if she was Alex’s new girlfriend.”
A-Rod, 45, is reportedly still in search of property to purchase in Manhattan as well as the Hamptons. For now, the home he rented boasts seven-bedroom, and 11-bathrooms, spanning 9,200-square-feet. The 3.9 acre property features a heated gunite pool and spa, waterfall and direct access to a pond. The famous slugger took to Instagram on Thursday to post a video of himself shooting hoops outside the home. A rep for Rodriguez declined to comment.
Lopez’s home, just 1.2 miles away, has eight bedrooms, seven baths, and is nestled on over three acres. The home was custom-built, spanning 8,500 square feet, and includes a large outdoor pool. J. Lo, who is reportedly worth some $400 million, making an average of $40 million annually, had purchased the home in 2013 for $10 million.
The 51-year-old singer has not yet been spotted in the Hamptons for the summer season. As per PageSix, she has been busy instead rumored reuniting with a different ex— Ben Affleck in Malibu and Los Angeles. The two actors were photographed sharing a romantic kiss at dinner in a restaurant in Malibu earlier this month. Reportedly, Lopez’s kids, Max and Emme- twins she had with ex-husband Marc Anthony, were also present at the dinner with Affleck.
