While Minneapolis’ Congressional representative Ilan Omar & The City Council makes repeated calls to dismantle the Minneapolis police and rebuild it into a barely defined army of social workers and “de-escalators” – crime has become so bad police in the 3rd prescient sent an email to residents telling them they should be prepared to be robbed.
“Be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet,” the police said in their email, adding that citizens should listen to criminals and “do as they say”, the memo reads. This clearly displays that the city has surrendered to criminals and this is exactly what Minneapolis officials want.
Minneapolis experiencing a 46% increase in carjackings and a 36% increase in robberies compared to this same time last year, according to a local CBS affiliate WCCO’s report.
The police reports that July has seen 100 robberies and 20 carjackings in the area, and that the 3rd Precinct is not the only part of Minneapolis that is experiencing an increase in criminal activity and violence. Daily caller obtained this alarming letter.
