Shurat HaDin, a Tel Aviv-based organization representing families of victims and survivors of the October 7th massacre, is demanding that UNRWA be listed as a terror organization because of its proven ties to Hamas.

It has been revealed that 12 UNRWA workers took an active part in the October 7th massacre and it has also been discovered that a Hamas data center was located directly below UNRWA’s Gaza headquarters.  Shurat HaDin is pursuing action to ensure the UN “humanitarian” organization’s involvement with terrorism is investigated and exposed.

The President of the Law Center, attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, said, “Now it is clear to everyone that UNRWA has opened its doors to Hamas terrorists in an unprecedented way.”

She added, “Posing as a humanitarian organization, (UNRWA) encourages a false and dangerous historical narrative.”

“They have also become the central headquarters of a terrorist organization, some of whose workers murdered innocent Jews with their own hands.”

Nitsana Darshan-Leitner said there is ample evidence to prove UNRWA’s terrorist ties, and what remains is approval by the Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to proceed.

“UNRWA is no longer a humanitarian agency – its become a full-scale jihadi group,” said Darshan-Leitner.

She added that Shurat HaDin has “all the grounds and legal evidence for the Defense Minister to declare them a terrorist organization.”

The designation of UNRWA as a terror group is essential, Darshan-Leitner said, to prevent further activities that could lead to more terror attacks like the one on October 7th.

“This designation is necessary” to avoid “terrorist violence and expedite the collapse of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip.”

Shurat HaDin‘s initiative is created for the Defense Ministry and contains over 8 pages of detailed evidence proving UNRWA’s close connection with Hamas.

If Defense Minister Yoav Gallant approves the initiative, UNRWA will be declared a terrorist organization and Shin Bet will recommend what kind of services are needed to maintain a close watch on UNRWA.

According to its website, Shurat HaDin is “dedicated to protecting the State of Israel. By defending against lawfare suits, fighting academic and economic boycotts, and challenging those who seek to delegitimize the Jewish State, Shurat HaDin is utilizing court systems around the world to go on the legal offensive against Israel’s enemies.”

In other news, Tazpit News Service reported that Israeli soldiers continued their operations in the Gaza Strip as one combat team eliminated more than 30 Hamas terrorists during the past day, the Israel Defense Forces said.

In the last 24 hours, a combat team from the 7th Brigade operating in western Khan Yunis eliminated over 30 terrorists while carrying out raids on Hamas terror infrastructure, sniper ambushes and patrols, according to the TPS report.

Also in West Khan Yunis, soldiers killed two terrorists who tried to move under the cover of the civilian population. When one of the terrorists was spotted pointing a gun at a protected Israeli military vehicle, troops reacted immediately and eliminated the terrorist.

In addition, in the Khan Yunis area, soldiers located several terrorists transporting cargo on a motorcycle. The fighters directed an air strike that eliminated the squad.

Meanwhile, soldiers also directed attacks on two military depots located inside terrorists’ houses.

In central Gaza, soldiers from Israel’s Nahal Brigade eliminated about ten terrorists during the last day.
