Disgraced Pol Anthony Weiner Wants “Secret Hideout” After Ex-Wife Reveals Relationship with Actor Bradley Cooper

Seems like disgraced Brooklyn congressman Anthony Weiner is being boxed into a corner on a public level over his ex-wife’s new love interest.
After being goaded by his WABC-AM radio news colleague, Curtis Sliwa, the ex-congressman who had been scarred by multiple scandals throughout his political career, said on his radio program of ex-wife Huma Abedin, “I love her dearly, and I want her to be happy, and I am happy if she is happy,”
The New York Post reported that Weiner had attempted to avoid questions about the fact that is ex-wife and mother of his son is having a relationship with actor Bradley Cooper.
Sliwa, a former Republican candidate for mayor of New York City and the founder of the Guardian Angels street patrol joked on the WABC radio program about the New York Post’s cover story on Wednesday. The front page of the Post included the headline “Huma’s New Hot Dog,” and featured a photo composite of Weiner staring over Cooper’s shoulder and Abedin off to the side, as was reported by the Post.
Try as he might, Weiner was not successful in deflecting a conversation about Abedin’s relationship with Cooper. The Post reported that he kept bringing up how proud he is of his ex-spouse and is relentlessly promoting her best-selling memoir “Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds,” which is being made into a TV series.
The Post also reported that the ex-congressman also boasted that he expected “someone handsome” to play him in the TV series.
Radio partner Sliwa found humor in such a suggestion and joked that, “This could be the comeback for Pee Wee Herman.” This was a reference to actor Paul Reubens, who was once famously arrested for publicly exposing himself in a movie theater, according to the Post report.
In a jocular fashion, Weiner referred to his own possible celebrity romantic connections.
“We have to end right at 4 p.m.. Lady Gaga is picking me up,” he joked with his listening audience on WABC radio in New York.
The Post reported that earlier in his radio program, Weiner made reference to recently published reports that Mayor Eric Adams has a “secret” office on Pearl Street in lower Manhattan. He joked that Adams might have a very good idea.
Weiner said: “I need a secret hideout with a week like this one.”
On Tuesday, Page Six of the Post reported that Weiner’s ex-wife had been introduced to Cooper, 47, by Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue magazine. The Post reported that Wintour decided to play matchmaker as she really likes both Abedin and Cooper and thought they might like each other.
Two weeks after Weiner, 57, (who also happens to be a convicted sex offender), made the announcement that he would return to Twitter after a long hiatus was it reported that Abedin had a new paramour in her life and his name is Bradley Cooper.
The Post reported that Twitter was the stage for Weiner’s political demise almost 10 years ago after he posted lewd selfies for purposes of sexual interaction with women and girls.
In 2017, Abedin filed for divorce from Weiner after he was sentenced to nearly two years in prison for sexting with a 15-year-old North Carolina girl, as was reported by the Post. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Abedin served as the vice chair of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The two were considered good friends.
Abedin had been motivated to end her marriage to Weiner after the humiliation she suffered over Weiner’s many public sex scandals, as was reported by the Post. That included images of a crotch shot he sent to woman while lying next to his young son in 2016.
Weiner had previously admitted to sexting at least three women in 2013 after he resigned from Congress, as was reported by the Post.
