The ceremony, set to take place on August 26th at the iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium, will celebrate Roddick’s enduring commitment to empowering youth through education and sports.

The USTA Foundation’s annual Opening Night Gala promises to be a star-studded affair, with an array of notable figures from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and fashion coming together to celebrate Roddick’s achievements. According to a report in The New York Post, the event will feature Mariska Hargitay and former tennis star Tommy Haas as honorary co-chairs, with “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda serving as an honorary co-host. The gala’s chairs include prominent personalities such as Yesim Philip, Alec Baldwin, Anna Wintour, and Ally Love, adding to the evening’s prestige.

Tennis legend Chris Evert will also play a key role in honoring Roddick, highlighting the profound respect and admiration he commands within the tennis community.
