Concept of useful idiots

The team ‘useful idiots’ describes individuals, who are taken advantage of by the persons or organizations to achieve often-nefarious goals. The invention of the term is mistakenly attributed to the leader of the Communist (Bolsheviks) Party of Russia V.I. Lenin. The Austrian- American economist Ludwig Von Mises has provided the definition of the term. In his book ‘Planned Chaos’ von Mises pointed to the useful innocent (idiots) individuals and organizations who are used by communists to achieve their goals by using “confused and misguided sympathizers of the revolutionary idea”. The authenticity of the definition by Von Mises is proven by the actions of the communists of former Soviet Union, starting with its founder, V.I. Lenin, and during the period of the Cold War, when the communists were using the representatives of liberal democracies of the West to propagandize their ideas.

The writer of the article is wondering how can a Jewish organization be a part of the movement trying to destroy the insurance of Jewish nation- the state of Israel. The folly of the goals of Jewish anti-Zionist groups can be compared to the idiocy of the existence of organization ‘The Association of German National Jews’ which supported Hitler before and after the Nazis came to power. The term ‘useful idiots’ comes to the mind, when speaking of the groups such as Jewish Voices for Peace, IfNotNow, Independent Jewish Voices Canada and Neturei Karta, whose goals coincide with the values and beliefs of Islamic movement organizations.

US, Canada and Israeli Jewish useful idiots

The US Jewish population is second largest after Israel and the polls show that support for Israel is shifting unfavorably in last several years. The poll conducted in 2021 has found that a quarter of American Jews consider Israel as “apartheid state”, and “one-fifth of those under 40 do not think the Jewish state has a right to exist. The Jewish communities of US and Canada experiences deepening divisions over the Hamas Israeli war. The groups such as Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and IfNotNow are in the forefront of anti-Israeli, anti-Zionist movement. They represent “confused and misguided sympathizers” to the causes of anti-Zionist Islamic movement.

Founded in 1996, Jewish Voices for Peace presents itself as “the largest progressive Jewish anti-Zionist organization in the world”. It has chapters on many university campuses. Founded in 2014 during the Israel-Hamas war, the IFNotNow stated its goal” Organizing our community to end US support for Israel’s apartheid system and demand equality, justice and a thriving future for all Palestinians and Israelis”.

Among the pro-Palestinian rallies’ participants, you can see a group of Orthodox Jewish men. The group is called Neturei Karta. The group opposes the secular state of Israel and advocates for its destruction. “The group believes that Jews were exiled from Israel by God as a punishment for sins, and God will reestablish the nation only during the Messianic era”. Neturei Karta is friendly with anti-Semitic Iran and Hezbollah.

You won’t be able to find an Islamic organization in US and Canada which expresses condemnation of the brutality of the October 07 Hamas attack on the civilian population of Israel. They present a united front against the state of Israel.

Opposite to this united front the useful idiots of Jewish Voice for Peace, IfNotNow and Neturei Karta are in vanguard of confused and misguided sympathizers of Palestinians.

The horrific reality if the ideas of Jewish useful idiots of anti-Zionist movement are realized

Let’s assume that the ideas and wishes of useful idiots came to the fruition and the state of Israel does not exist as of now. What this will mean for the Jews in Israel and for the Jewish diaspora? No Jews will be allowed to entry Palestine. Jewish useful idiots won’t be allowed entry to Palestine because they Jewish. What an irony! The seven plus millions of Jews in Israel will be under the rule of Hamas like government. The Article 2 of Hamas Covenant of 1988 states:” The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) is one of the wings of Moslem Brotherhood in Palestine”.

The founder of Muslim Brotherhood Al-Banna stated: “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet”. The only law in the country will be Sharia law. Accordingly to the Sharia Law the non-Muslim have to pay a protection tax called “jizya”. The Jews of Palestine will pay a tax to be protected but who will protect them if the Hamas like government will rule the country? With the support of the Palestine population the Hamas’s government will create intolerable conditions for the Jews still living in the Palestine by introducing the laws similar to the laws and conditions Nazi legislated for the Jews of Germany in Nuremberg Laws in 1935.

It will be easy for Hamas government to create these conditions because there is history of the brutality and barbarism of Arabs of Palestine toward the Jews. One of many pogroms happened on August 29, 1929. The Arab mob murdered, looted, raped and maimed Jewish people in Hebron and Jerusalem. The New York Times describes the horrors of this pogrom “they (the Arabs) threw bodies of Jewish babies into the fire”. These actions were exactly repeated by the Hamas invaders into Israel on October 07, 2023.

Considering the circumstances describe above the Jews of Palestine would try to immigrate to other countries. There will be limitations on the amount of the personal wealth the Jews would be allowed to take when immigrating from Palestine. But this will not be the worst of the problem facing the Jews of Palestine. Remember how many countries accepted Jewish refugees before existence of the state of Israel-very few. Remember the ship SS St Louis with Jewish refugees seeking a place to escape the Nazi’s prosecution. They were denied entry first to Cuba as well the refugee status in US and Canada. The ship was forced to returned back to Europe.

The Jews in diaspora, without the presence of the Jewish state, will lose the sense of confidence and self-respect they subconsciously or consciously possessed with the existence of the state of Israel. People of other countries did not necessarily love the state of Israel but they respect its ability to create a thriving modern democratic country with strong military. Now when the state of Israel is not any more the people of other countries are losing this respect.

The Jews now will be completely dependent on the moods and attitudes of the populations and governments of countries they live and we know how it worked out before existence of the state of Israel. The anti-Semitism, which increased significantly in the last several years, will skyrocketing. “A world without Israel would be one of Jewish suffering and victimhood and anyone who seeks that objective -be they on the left or the right, non-Jewish or Jewish-should be labeled as a would-be accomplice to genocide”.

How to encounter the influence of the anti-Zionist useful idiots

What is Zionism and what its stands for? For past two millennia the Jewish people had an attachment to Jerusalem’s Zion hill. They were repeating the phase ‘Next year in Jerusalem’ at the end of the Passover Seder and at the end of the Ne’illa. service on Yom Kippur forever. “Zionism emerged as a political movement to reestablish a Jewish state in Israel, the ancestral homeland of Jewish people. Today, Zionism is an expression of the support for the continued existence of Israel, despite of calls for its destruction or dissolution” by her enemies.

The anti-Zionist organizations and its members, the Jewish useful idiots, are denying the state of Israel the right to exit and Jewish people’s right to self-determination. The whole concept of anti-Zionism is anti-semiotic in nature. “When Jews are verbally and physically harassed or Jewish institutions and houses of worship are vandalized in response to actions of the state of Israel, it is anti-Semitism”. The attribution the anti-Semitic ideas of Jewish media power, greed and other negative stereotypes to the actions of the state of Israel is also signs of anti-Zionist anti-Semitism.

The way to encounter and eliminate anti-Zionism is through education of the children, Jewish and non Jewish, about Jewish history and holocaust. As of May 29,2921, 31 states of US don’t require schools to teach about the Holocaust. The Holocaust education will soon be mandatory for all high school students in the British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada. There are several Canadian provinces and territories which do not have Jewish history and holocaust education in the school curriculum. Therefore, the Jewish organizations such as B’nai B’rith of America and Canada; The Anti-Defamation League,; American Jewish Committee; Canadian Anti-Semitism Foundation (CAEF) and others have the obligation to lobby and advance the Jewish history and Holocaust education to all schools and universities. It will take time but, as the children are getting the knowledge of the Holocaust and Jewish history, they become the catalyst of the attitude change against the anti-Zionist organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace and ItNotNow. The knowledge of Holocaust and Jewish history will act as a pesticide to weed out the outrage of Jewish useful idiots of the anti-Zionism.
