82 years have passed since July, 1942, when French authorities rounded up thirteen THOUSAND Jews in Paris, 4 thousand  of whom were children, and forced them into the  Vélodrome d’Hiver, an indoor cycling track.

The conditions were appalling. Toilets were insufficient and often blocked. Access to food and water was scarce. The glass roof, painted dark to comply with blackout regulations, trapped the summer heat, and sealed windows created a deathtrap with no ventilation. Several desperate individuals committed suicide.  Those attempting to escape were shot.

After days of enduring conditions unsuited for even farm animals, the French detainees were transferred to internment camps like Drancy, Pithiviers, and Beaune-la-Rolande, and eventually deported to Nazi death camps, primarily Auschwitz, where most perished.

In the 82 years since, many empty French gestures and apologies have been made. Guilt assuaging memorials have been erected.

But this week, the ‘Tromperie’, the facade, the 8 decade-long performative farce of phony French regret, was laid bare.  This week, the French President, @EmmanuelMacron, in keeping with the Vichy past, supported and collaborated with those who openly seek the annihilation of the Jewish people. This week, the French government announced it will acknowledge the statehood of a terrorist enclave that butchered 1200 Israelis on October 7th and still holds 50 hostages. This week, the French government kettled Israeli El Al security in Paris and canceled their visas.

In August 2025, everything old is new again, especially French surrender to barbarism.

Once again, France offers up the Jewish people as a human sacrifice to genocidal lunatics. And they have the perfect anthem for 80 years of their treachery.
