An Open Letter to Bklyn BP Antonio Reynoso

Dear Mr. Reynoso:

Press credentials include a press parking permit which allows media representatives to  park their vehicles for free in a location close to the event they are covering.  In Brooklyn, however, parking for members of the media has been circumscribed to them. A certain amount of parking spots were originally established in the downtown Brooklyn area where the court system, government offices and the office of the Brooklyn Borough President are located. This place is often the hub of government activity as well as the place where press conferences are held.

In order for reporters, journalists, editors and publishers to park their vehicles for the sole purpose of providing a service to their readers and viewers through extensive coverage, they need a place to park their vehicles and television trucks.

Parking spots for the press are worth their weight in gold as they are practically non-existent, especially in the downtown Brooklyn area. While spots were, at one point, specifically designated for the media vehicles these few spots are being used by officials of other government agencies, leaving reporters without any choice but to drive around for hours seeking parking spaces for their vehicles.

When one compares this abysmal situation in Brooklyn to the friendlier environment for the media in Manhattan, it appears that the number of free press parking spots in the city are considerably higher. In the City Hall area in lower Manhattan, the media has much less difficulty finding spots for their vehicles.

In the largest city in the world, this situation is beyond shameful and as such prevents the wheels of democracy from spinning at its best.

Many, many more additional press parking spots are desperately needed in Brooklyn. I would respectfully request that you take immediate action on this matter and provide to the media what was promised to them in order to do the job that they are called upon to do.

Sincerely
David Ben Hooren

Graduating Students with Vocational Skills

Dear Editor:

Europe offers students vocational training programs while they’re still in school, accompanied by on-site employer sponsored, hands-on experience. They graduate young folks with specific, marketable skills, with increased confidence in their abilities and optimism about their future.  Contrast this with what we are doing. The H.S. dropout rates are increasing as we speak. Graduates have below minimum standards in math, reading comprehension, writing abilities and are trained to do exactly nothing.

“Vocational education and training (VET) provides learners with essential skills enhancing their employability, supporting their personal development and encouraging active citizenship. VET boosts enterprise performance, competitiveness, research and innovation.” https://education.ec.europa.eu/education-levels/vocational-education-and-training/about-vocational-education-and-training

However in our Dissolute, Dys-Functional, Gimme Gimme Gimme America of today, where the greatest good for the greatest number is no longer even considered, an effective program such as this one will end up being called racist, and worse, before it’s even begun. It will be stormed by the bully, threatening, in-your-face, fringe miniscule minority, the I-get-what-I-want…or else mob. It will be disappeared before it’s even given a chance by the morally lost ACLU and Teachers Unions who will oppose it in favor of their own agendas.

Misguided socialists and social justice warriors think giving everyone free annual incomes, free housing, free everything, is the way to achieve moral standing, equity & equality. It is not. It promotes dissolution of one’s spirit. Humans, by nature, require purpose, working hard to achieve something, delay of immediate gratification to sustain “happiness.”  Society’s very existence depends upon kumbaya-with-accountability, that is, serious and meaningful consequences for bad behaviors, along with legally mandated attendance in programs to support rehabilitation.

Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. successfully effected change through non-violent means.  Our present downhill course, pushed by the demands of the bottomless, never satisfied, perpetual victims whose only allegiances are to their own agendas, must be tempered with the needs and wants of others, if we want to remain a vibrant, free society.

Alexander Soros’ White House Visits

Dear Editor:

I just heard that George Soros’ son, Alexander has visited the White House over a dozen times.  Video’s would likely show that he carried paper shopping bags when he entered the doors. Back in Brooklyn, we called these guys, “Bag Guys,” or those thugs who paid off elected political big shots for their support in criminal activities. Alexander has also founded and funded the phony “pro Israel” group, Bend the Arc, which allies itself with other dangerous groups such as J Street, T’ruah, Jewish Voice for Peace and Peace Now, among other anti Israel groups. The Soros’ are no longer Jews. They gave up that religion at the same time George’s Nazi loving dad changed his name from Schwartz to Soros. The family is loaded with low life individuals who use their money to manipulate the Democrat Party to do their bidding.

American Democrat Jews should be aware of just who calls the shots for the party and quit ASAP. If you stay on as a Democrat and vote their platform, you are aiding and abetting Jew hatred by your stupidity. I challenge an answer from one of you. I show my courage by listing my name and city in which I live. Do the same.

The Diminished Workforce is Killing Us

Dear Editor:

I went to the super market today and left over $200 at the register to keep my family of four fed and well nourished. At home I compared a similar check out receipt from three years ago and discovered that today’s cost rose about 25% over this period of time. This is not acceptable. Not only that but I noted that many of the products were smaller in quantity yet their prices still had been increased.

With our diminished work force, with many being comfortable staying home, getting government bucks to do so, or merely eating up their savings, how will we ever get back to producing the quantities needed to sustain a growing in population country? And looking at our country from clear, not rose colored glasses, I predict that there will be major shortages in the products we need and use on a daily basis. Baby food is still barely on the shelves with mothers hoarding vast amounts in fear of further reductions in manufacture. It is truly frightening to contemplate our nation’s future if we continue on this slide of employment and desire to work among our citizens.
