Progressive media celebrity and congresswoman of New York’s 14th congressional district since 2019 (which covers large swaths of the Bronx and Queens) was humiliated at a nearly empty town hall meeting at Bronxdale High School, which is located in the heart of her disctrict in the Bronx.
In an empty auditorium, the socialist political star was verbally assailed by anti-war activists.

AOC is up for re-election in November and is running against long shot Republican activist and Bronx mom Tina Forte. Tina Forte secured the Republican nomination defeating Queens native Desi Joseph Cuellar in a primary by a 67%-31% margin.
While Forte has zero political experience and has next to no cash on hand for her campaign; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is essentially a “rock” star, and has been endlessly featured on cable news programs , and appeared on the front pages of prominent publications such as GQ, Vanity Fair and Time Magazine.
One must wonder why there were maybe 30 people at a Town Hall featuring one of the most famous politicans in NYC and essentially the entire nation. Is AOC’s popularity all a facade created by the progressive leaning media?
During the Q&A portion at a town hall event, a protester began yelling at the Democratic lawmaker for her support of sending aid to Ukraine as its military fends off an invasion from Russia.
“None of this matters unless there’s a nuclear war, which you voted to send arms and weapons to Ukraine,” the protester said, according to a video posted on social media. “You ran as an outsider, yet you’ve been voting to start this war in Ukraine. You’re voting to start a third nuclear war with Russia and China. Why are you playing with the lives of American citizens?”
Another protester then called on Ocasio-Cortez to denounce the Democratic Party, referring to former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who announced earlier this week she would be leaving the party she termed “an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness.”
“Tulsi Gabbard has shown guts where you’ve shown cowardice,” the second protester said. “I believed in you, and you became the very thing you sought to fight against.”
The New York Democrat voted in favor of sending $40 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine in early May. That bill passed the House with a 368-57 vote, noted by Washington Examiner.
AOC has refused to debate her Republican opponent Tina Forte, who was outisde the Town Hall demanding AOC to debate her.
