(TJV NEWS) FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made a stunning revelation Saturday, declaring that recent findings uncovered during internal investigations into alleged government corruption and abuse of power have deeply shaken him.
“What I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters has shocked me down to my core,” Bongino wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned.”
While Bongino did not detail what exactly had been uncovered, he emphasized that the investigations are ongoing and being handled with full adherence to the law.
“We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law,” he said. “We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE.”
The former Secret Service agent and popular conservative commentator, who now holds one of the FBI’s top posts, assured the public that integrity remains at the center of the inquiry. “As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land,” Bongino continued, “but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not ‘my truth,’ or ‘your truth,’ but THE TRUTH.”
He also acknowledged his more low-key public presence in recent months, but hinted that critical developments are in motion. “I’m not out there every day like I used to be,” he said, “but trust me — things are happening.”
Bongino’s comments come as scrutiny intensifies over the politicization of federal agencies and the alleged targeting of political opponents under the guise of national security or law enforcement. His remarks have sparked speculation and anticipation about potential future revelations and their implications for public trust in government institutions.
As reported by the New York Post, Bongino has not yet offered a timeline for when the findings might be made public.
