( Daily Caller/TJV) A person of interest has been identified in the mass shooting at multiple locations in Lewiston, Maine, Wednesday, according to the Lewiston Police Department.
At least 22 people were reportedly killed Wednesday in separate alleged shootings in Lewiston, Maine. The Sun Journal and CNN are now reporting that there were two shooting locations: Sparetime Recreation and Schemengees Bar & Grille.
“Police are currently searching for a Robert R. Card, 4/4/1983. He is considered armed and dangerous. He’s a person of interest, that is what we will label him moving forward until that changes,” Commissioner Michael J. Sauschuck of the Maine Department of Public Safety, said during a Wednesday press conference. The Lewiston Police Department said it was investigating the killings that took place at a bar and a bowling alley, according to WGME.

“If people see him they should not approach Card or make contact with him in any way. The shelter in place order that currently stands in Lewiston remains. A vehicle which was a vehicle of interest in this incident was located in Lisbon and we are now asking residents in Lisbon to shelter in place,” Sauschuck said.

“Law enforcement in Androscoggin County are investigating two active shooter events,” the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook. “We are encouraging all businesses to lock down and or close while we investigate. The suspect is still at large.”
“Law Enforcement is attempting to locate Robert Card 4/4/1983, as a person of interest regarding the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation this evening,” the Lewiston Police Department posted on Facebook. “CARD should be considered armed and dangerous. Please contact law enforcement if you are aware of his whereabouts.”
