RadarOnline and Gateway Pundit reports deepen questions around Epstein’s immunity and intelligence ties

(TJV NEWS) Newly uncovered federal documents appear to show that Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, served as an FBI informant for years—well before his 2007 non-prosecution agreement. The revelations, first reported by RadarOnline.com and previously hinted at by The Gateway Pundit in 2018, are reigniting longstanding suspicions that Epstein’s immunity from federal prosecution may have been tied not only to powerful legal connections but also to covert cooperation with U.S. intelligence agencies.

The documents were released under a successful Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit. One entry, dated September 11, 2008, reads:

On 9/11/08, case agent advised writer that Epstein is currently being prosecuted by the State of Florida and is complying with all conditions of his plea with the State of Florida. Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon. Case agent advised that no federal prosecution will occur in this matter as long as Epstein continues to uphold his agreement with the State of Florida.”

The document also stated that no further forfeiture assistance would be required unless the matter advanced at the federal level.

RadarOnline notes that this language significantly predates Epstein’s widely criticized 2007 plea deal, suggesting that his cooperation with the FBI may have begun earlier than publicly acknowledged. One unnamed source familiar with the case told the outlet, “These are the smoking gun documents. They show Epstein was an active source for the FBI way before his plea deal in 2007.”

This information adds further weight to reporting by The Gateway Pundit, which in 2018 claimed Epstein had operated as an informant under then-FBI Director Robert Mueller, providing federal authorities with intelligence in exchange for leniency.

Sources cited by RadarOnline argue that the newly released records contradict years of official silence and obfuscation. “The real reason the FBI has been stonewalling for years is because these files blow up the official story. Epstein wasn’t just evading justice – he was helping them,” one source claimed.

Adding to the controversy is the extraordinary scope of Epstein’s 2007 non-prosecution agreement. That deal not only protected Epstein from federal charges but also immunized several of his alleged co-conspirators, including Sarah Kellen, Adriana Ross, Lesley Groff, and Nadia Marcinkova. Legal experts have long argued that such sweeping immunity is virtually unprecedented in federal prosecutions involving sex crimes.

Another source told RadarOnline: “This is only the beginning. We now know the FBI had a working relationship with Epstein going back years. The public deserves to know what he was trading for that protection – and who else was involved.”

Speculation over Epstein’s ties to intelligence has circulated for years. During his 2019 transition interview as part of the Trump administration, former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta—who served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida during the time of Epstein’s plea deal—reportedly told interviewers that he was instructed to back off the case. According to RadarOnline and other sources, Acosta said Epstein “belonged to intelligence” and the case was “above his pay grade.”

In a July 2020 appearance on C-SPAN, Acosta clarified that he had not independently verified Epstein’s alleged intelligence connections but merely repeated what he had been told during the prosecution process.

The new documents appear to support the notion that Epstein’s legal leniency may have been influenced by his value as a federal informant. If proven, the implications could be significant—not only for the legacy of the Epstein investigation but also for public trust in the federal justice system.

  1. I believe that Epstein is not dead. The Keydtone Kops handling of his incarceration is totally bogus.
