An earlier report revealed that a Hamas attack against IDF soldiers was launched in the northern part of the city from Nasser Hospital.

Hamas frequently uses hospitals for storing weapons and military operations as was seen at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City at the beginning of the war.

In addition, the terrorist group often robs hospitals of their resources, including water, food, and fuel.

Other operations in Khan Younis included attacking the headquarters of the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The IDF also destroyed 100 facilities for launching rockets and neutralized a large number of terrorists.

Fighters of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade’s Combat Team discovered the rocket facilities in the Beit Lahia area in Gaza.

Hamas was preparing to launch 60 of these into Israel.

Between October 7th and January 9th, the Israel Defense Forces have eliminated more than 9,000 Palestinian terrorists, Israel’s military reported.

The IDF has also neutralized two out of Hamas’s five brigade-level commanders.

Also, 19 battalion-level commanders and 50 company commanders were killed.

Since October 7th, the Israeli military attacked some 30,000 terror targets in Gaza, and ground forces detained and interrogated 2,300 terror suspects.

The IDF announced it launched targeted raids on the offices of Hamas leaders in Khan Younis on Tuesday.

The office belonged to a terror Battalion Commander in the southern part of the city.

The commandos found in the Hamas offices weapons, ammunition, grenades, and surveillance cameras, the latter of which they destroyed.

IDF soldiers neutralized terrorists in close combat when raiding the Hamas offices.

TPS reported that Israeli soldiers in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp discovered a weapons storage facility inside a school, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday.

The IDF said soldiers from the 646th Brigade captured 10 Hamas terrorists in the school and took them away for questioning. The military added that “a large variety of weapons” were discovered in the school.

Other soldiers from that brigade in the refugee camp also located a rocket factory and an explosives manufacturing facility along with weapons hidden in a building that is part of a compound belonging to an unspecified humanitarian organization.

Before the war in Gaza, more than 85,000 Palestinian refugees were registered with the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) as living in the camp.

At least 1,200 people were killed in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on Oct. 7. The number of men, women, children, soldiers and foreigners held captive in Gaza by Hamas is now believed to be 136. Other people remain unaccounted for as Israeli authorities continue to identify bodies and search for human remains.
