(VINNews) — A frum 9 year old boy was snatched last week by a dangerous gang in Stamford Hill, London. Thankfully, he was released shortly thereafter, and although he was traumatized, was not physically harmed.

The terrifying incident was caught on surveillance video Thursday, which has been released by London Shomrim. In the footage, the boy can be seen walking home from school in the dark, when he was grabbed by the known gang. Shomrim is calling the attack an abduction.
Local police confirmed that a group of teenagers had approached a boy, aged nine, and one of the group carried him to a nearby front yard where they let him go without injury. The boy’s mother chose not to take further action, and the incident is not being treated as a hate crime.
One suspect was given an “anti-social behaviour warning”.
Shomrim has called on police to hold the gang accountable for hundreds of racist attacks.
