(JNS) The U.S. Treasury Department announced on Wednesday that it has sanctioned four companies for allegedly facilitating the export of Iranian petrochemical products by an entity already sanctioned by the United States.
Two of the sanctioned companies, Donghai International Ship Management Limited and Petrochem South East Limited, are based in China. The other, Alpha Tech Trading FZE, is based in the United Arab Emirates.
These three companies have allegedly provided Triliance with critical shipping services or conducted financial transactions on behalf of the company, enabling it to continue brokering and moving Iranian petrochemical exports, according to the Treasury Department.
Triliance was blacklisted by the United States in January.
