(TJV NEWS) Pakistan on Saturday declared unwavering support for Iran following Israeli airstrikes that killed over 100 people, including top Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists, and called on Muslim nations to unite against Israel.

Speaking before Pakistan’s National Assembly, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, Yemen, and Palestine, saying they represented a direct threat to all Muslim-majority countries.

“Israel has targeted Iran, Yemen, and Palestine. If Muslim nations don’t unite now, each will face the same fate,” Asif warned. He urged Muslim countries with diplomatic ties to Israel to sever those relationships immediately and called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene and formulate a joint strategy in response.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s strategic alignment with Iran, Asif added: “We stand behind Iran and will support them at every international forum to protect their interest.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar echoed those sentiments on Friday, calling the Israeli assault a “brazen violation of Iran’s sovereignty.” He emphasized Pakistan’s “solidarity with the government and the people of Iran.”

Dar also spoke by phone with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, assuring him of Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region, and expressing full support for Iran in international forums.

The crisis began early Friday when Israeli forces launched a sweeping air campaign across Iran, targeting key nuclear and missile facilities. The attack killed more than 104 Iranians—including the Islamic Republic’s chief of staff, IRGC commander, several top military leaders, and nuclear scientists—and injured nearly 380 others.

Iran swiftly retaliated with a barrage of ballistic missiles, striking several sites across Israel. According to Israeli reports, the strikes killed three civilians and wounded over 170 more.

As regional tensions soar, Pakistan’s latest declaration signals a potentially seismic shift in Middle Eastern alliances.

  1. This is MISINFORMATION. Pakistan has closed its borders and has withdrawn any meaningful support. It legitimately fears that Israel might turn its sites on Pakistan should it lift a finger to help Iran.

    • Maybe Pakistan is offering political support – mainly with the mouth, which amounts to nothing. Pakistan has other things to worry about though. The country’s name is INDIA. One more wrong move and Pakistan could be finish.
