CBS correspondent Catherine Herridge reported Wednesday that DNI John Ratcliffe told CBS “that there was foreign election interference by China, Iran, and Russia in November of this year.”
Meanwhile, Bloomberg quoted multiple sources about Chiese influence in the election, in an article that could end up foreshadowing political intrigue which may haunt Biden’s reign as president for the next 4 years.
Is Biden’s China’s choice?
Interestingly Bloomberg reported: President Donald Trump’s spy chief will not meet Friday’s deadline to submit a classified report to Congress on foreign efforts to sway the Nov. 3 election, officials said, because of arguments within the intelligence community over whether China should be cited more prominently for its attempts to influence American voters.
More from Bloomberg: Ratcliffe was weighing Tuesday refusing to sign off on the report unless it more fully reflected the national security threat posed by China’s efforts, according to people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity owing to the sensitivity of the information.
Ratcliffe’s concerns are fueled by fresh intelligence that provides a fuller picture of what China’s leaders either did or planned to do to keep Trump from being reelected, the people said.
That information, some of it in Mandarin and gathered in the weeks before and after the election, is still being assessed, one of the people said. It includes social media campaigns, such as attempts to amplify messages Trump is a white supremacist, the person said.
This report is coming from a mainstream media outlet. This may be a much bigger story as this report is scheduled to be released in January. Was Joe Biden’s election victory, influenced heavily by a Chinese psychological operation? Why are some within the intelligence community apparently not interested in learning more?
For the entirety of the Trump administration, we heard the out in the open accusations of Russia’s influence helping Trump become president in 2016. Now it appears China and Iran helped push Biden over the top in 2020. Apparently, Russia played some influence also, according to the Bloomberg report.
What is most important is the following paragraph from this report:
Some analysts say the new intelligence will show China’s effort to influence the U.S. election was far more extensive than previously reported by spy agencies over the last year, the people(Bloomberg’s anon sources) said.
Suddenly the media is dropping hints of Chinese influence in our elections. CBS dropped this into their Nationwide evening newscast.
CBS Reporter: What did Ratcliffe say about election fraud and interference?
Catherine Herridge: Well DNI Ratcliffe leads the 17 intelligence agencies and he has access to the most highly classified information that is held by the US government. And he told CBS News that there was foreign interference by China, Iran, and Russia in November of this year and he is anticipating a public report on those findings in January.
