This year’s Jewish Community Relations Council of New York’s Celebrate Israel Parade will take place Sunday, June 4th at 11am. Featuring exciting group of entertainers and performers, along with 40,000 marchers, well-known influencers, and elected officials including the Mayor and Governor all commemorating Israel’s 75th anniversary.

Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter/rapper, Matisyahu will perform together with his son, Laivy. In addition, there will be performances by Israeli singer-songwriter Harel Skaat, renowned a capella group the Maccabeats, and Israeli saxophonist Yarden Klayman. Also performing are DJs Omri Anghel and Ido Friedman, and dancers from the Parparim Ensemble and Folk Dance Club Kaleidoscope.
Genesis 10 CEO Harley Lippman will preside as Grand Marshal, actress and advocate Noa Tishby along with Jewish lifestyle influencers Lizzy Savetsky, Chanie Apfelbaum, and Victoria Zirkiev will also be in attendance at the parade. Honorary Grand Marshals will include CIP founder Ted Comet, NYPD Chief Michael Kemper, Mark Wilf, Doron Almog, Yaakov Hagoel from JAFI, and WZO.
This year the parade has two firsts- an all ages block party celebrating Israeli food, art, and culture located along the parade route on 63rd and 5th, and a pilot program with Stephen Wise free synagogue matching local teens interested in the political process to elected officials so they can march together.
The theme for this year’s parade, which will run from 57th Street to 74th Street along Manhattan’s iconic 5th Avenue in Manhattan, is “Renewing the Hope.”
The parade will also be broadcast live locally on Fox TV’s My9 network and around the world via livestream at celebrateisraelny.org
