Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci appeared at a Southampton, New York, campaign stop where Joe Biden addressed well-heeled Democrats, the Washington Examiner reported.
Scaramucci who was communications director of the Trump Administration for all of 11 days, has come out swinging against the president the last several weeks.
The “Mooch” said that his appearance at the Blue Dream Gala, hosted by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, should not be taken for support of the former vice president and 2020 Democratic front-runner.
“I’m a registered Republican. I haven’t switched my support to Vice President Biden, but I will be working to find a nominee to challenge Donald Trump because he’s lost his mind and we’ve got to get someone here before we lose the election 2020,” Scaramucci told the Washington Examiner.
In the last week, Scaramucci has attacked the president and engaged in a back-and-forth on social media, with his former boss calling him “crazy” and “narcissistic.”
The “Mooch” began his verbal denunciations of Trump on a recent edition of Bill Maher on HBO.
He continued to decimate Trump in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
During an Interview with Vanity Fair reporter William D Cohan Scaramucci said of Trump’s way of handling trade deals: “Go look at the tweeting and the craziness and the fracturing of the alliances and the irrational Trump trade-tariff roulette. Okay, we’re putting the tariffs on; we’re taking the tariffs off; we’re putting them on; we may take them off. Hey, you can’t run a business like that if you’re a business leader. Business leaders large and small in the United States have said, “Hey, I gotta stop my capital investing. I don’t know what this guy is doing, because if he—if I start to invest in Mexico and he slaps a 20% tariff down there for some reason that I don’t understand, that’s gonna kill my business in Mexico. Let me wait this guy out.”
In the same interview when asked what was the “moment the scales fell from your eyes” He said “The red line was the racism—full-blown racism. He can say that he’s not a racist, and I agree with him, okay? And let me explain to you why he’s not a racist, ’cause this is very important. He’s actually worse than a racist. He is so narcissistic; he doesn’t see people as people. He sees them as objects in his field of vision. And so therefore, that’s why he has no empathy”
Another interesting quote from the Vanity Fair interview, Scaramucci stated:” I think the guy is losing it, mentally. He has declining mental faculties; he’s becoming more petulant; he’s becoming more impetuous. Okay, you see just by the way he’s sweating, his body’s not doing well. It’s obviously not a guy that takes care of himself, right? And he doesn’t listen to anybody.”
Scaramucci predicted many times in the media the last few weeks that Trump will drop out of the 2020 race.
