The transformation of Michael Bloomberg from moderate Independent to dedicated left leaning progressive has continued with the rollout of his $1.5 Trillion 10-year health care plan.

Bloomberg, after declaring his presidency a few weeks ago and spending upwards of around $10 million a week on advertising (according to Daily Caller) , decided to now be referred to as Mike, and has been traveling around to various states rubbing elbows with the “common man” in carefully staged photo-ops posted on his Facebook and Twitter. Thus far this style of self-marketing and branding has barely made a mark in recent polls, dominated by former V.P Joe Biden, ultra-leftists Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders , and up and comer South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

After the slight poll bump when he initially declared his presidency, there has not been large measurable support.

The last Democrat debate on PBS, drew record low debate ratings, and Bloomberg did not qualify.

Bloomberg’s medical policy would allow people to buy into a public option — a Medicare-like health insurance policy that would be administered by the federal government but paid for by customer premiums — aimed at providing less expensive alternatives to private insurance, the NY Post reported.

He also claimed the competition would drive down private insurance premiums. Essentially, it’s an expansion of Medicare.

The plan would extend tax credit for individuals and families whose health care premiums account for more than 8.5 percent of income. And it would allow families with expensive employer-sponsored insurance to buy health plans in the individual market with federal subsidies, giving roughly six million more people help with their premiums, The N.Y Post reported.

Former New York City Mayor and 2020 presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg has let voters know, he is a progressive dedicated to gun control, climate change and income inequality, a pollster for the former mayor announced on conservative talk radio station AM9970 “The Answer”, as reported previously by TJV.

From climate Change, to Gun Control and government healthcare, Bloomberg has begun to sound more like a “progressive Democrat” than the former Republican and Independent Michael Bloomberg.

“ The new version of Michael Bloomberg, excuse me… Mike Bloomberg is a cookie cutter progressive reciting climate change mantra, grandiose government spending and gun grabbing, sounds almost identical to Sanders, Mayor Pete and Warren, it’s hilarious following his Facebook, with his photo-ops of Mike going to church, eating cheese in Wisconsin and more, the attempt to make this billionaire look like the common man is laughable”, libertarian leaning political analyst Jared Evan told TJV .

“Guns, certainly,” Doug Schoen told host John Catsimatidis on “The Cats Roundtable” on AM 970 New York in an interview that aired Sunday. “He has had great success passing anti-gun violence legislation in the state legislatures.”

Bloomberg is a Special Representative of the UN Secretary General on Climate. A major component of his 2020 presidential run will be on Climate Change.

“Ultimately he needs to tell the story of how he’s created thousands of jobs, and what we need to do as a country to reduce income inequality,” Schoen told 970 AM radio. “Because while we have very high employment, the gap between the rich and the poor has gotten greater. And I think people really require opportunities that close that gap.”
