In a troubling series of events captured on video, an unidentified masked individual carried out two bold thefts at chain stores in Brooklyn. These incidents add to the growing concern over a nationwide surge in retail burglaries that have put law enforcement agencies on high alert.

Cities all over the nation are facing intense increases in highly organized retail thefts, among other crimes. All of the crime increases correspond to the rise of far left “woke” ideologies, where crime is accepted because of past “racism.”

The New York City thief managed to make off with more than $11,000 in merchandise and cash over the course of just two nights, as reported by the NYPD, which made the footage of the suspect public on a Saturday, NY Post reported

The first robbery took place on August 17, when the suspect entered the Burlington store on Fulton Street after hours, between 12:43 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., by exploiting an emergency exit. The stolen items included perfume, clothing, and electronics with a total estimated value of $6,050 before the thief fled the scene.

The same individual struck again at the Fulton Street Champ’s store a few weeks later on September 5. During this incident, the suspect forcibly entered the business and made away with apparel, sneakers, and $700 in cash, amounting to a total value of $5,300. This crime occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m.

The NYPD provided a description of the suspect, noting that they stand at approximately 5-feet-5 with a thin build. In the released video footage, the suspect can be seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored baseball cap, black pants, a black face mask, and carrying a black backpack.

These thefts in Brooklyn come amidst a concerning trend of organized shoplifting and burglaries plaguing cities across the United States. In California, where the problem has reached alarming levels, officials have earmarked $267 million to support local law enforcement in their efforts to combat this surge.

Over the summer, a Burlington store in California experienced a brazen theft, where three women were caught on camera leisurely wheeling out three shopping carts filled with merchandise in broad daylight.

The Sacramento Police Department confirmed that they had filed a police report regarding this incident.

The worrying trend of retail theft in the United States has reached staggering proportions, with losses estimated at $94 billion, marking a disturbing 90% increase since 2018, according to the National Retail Federation. This surge in theft has led law enforcement agencies and retailers nationwide grappling with the urgent need to address this growing issue.

The retail theft trend has corresponded with the rise of the extreme far left brand of “Democrat socialism” becoming a popular voting option in major cities. The most radical leftists have taken positions in city councils, in state assemblies and in the courts, pushing race-based ideologies where almost all crimes are accepted and legalized because of “racism” and some leaders are so demented and extreme they are advocating for “restorative justice” where the criminal is rewarded with government programs and the victim has to console their attacker. Extreme Democrat socialism is destroying most cities in America and the entire media is supportive of any leftist ideology, therefore relegating the on the ground realities to the few remaining “conservative outlets.”
