Hillel Fuld has a message for Diaspora Jews, which he knows is unpopular: “GET THE HELL OUT” of your home countries while you still can. “Nobody has to lecture me on terrorism — I know it,” Hillel told the New York Post last week. Hillel, an Israeli American tech entrepreneur whose brother Ari was murdered by an Arab terrorist in 2018, warned on social media recently that if you live outside of Israel, you should view it as an “extended business trip.” You can always come home. It need not be right away, but you should have a two or five year plan. As the grandson of Holocaust survivors, Fuld heard firsthand accounts of the Nazis’ brutality. Why then did Jews not leave Europe in the leadup to World War II? “They were comfortable,” concludes Fuld. It could never happen here. Or so people thought.

Today, the list of places people can feel safe outside Israel is increasingly short. If people realized their lives depended on it, they would come to Israel right away. Fuld acknowledges that there were failures on October 7th; the difference is that the Jewish State’s sole mission is to protect you. In his post, Fuld says he is not judging his fellow Jews; rather, he is writing from a place of love. “I write these words with great sadness,” he says. “Read the writing on the wall,” Fuld warns in the New York Post.

From anti-Semitic members of congress to Jews being beaten in the streets; international courts taking legal action against the Homeland of the Jews; world leaders turning on our people; and hateful rhetoric posted online, whoever thought this could happen? Outside of Israel, you might be safe despite being a Jew; “[I]n Israel, you are safe BECAUSE you are a Jew”, declares Fuld on his social media post.

Fuld is not trying to sugarcoat the war; it’s scary, yes.

In the first four months of 2024 alone, anti-Semitic hate crimes increased by 45%, according to NYPD data. The Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism stated in April that 96 anti-Jewish incidents had been reported in 2024 thus far, an increase from 66 in the same period in 2023. Fox 5 New York has reported that Anas Saleh boarded a packed subway car last month demanding that Zionists identify themselves and “get out;” he was arrested last week. There were other protestors on the train with Saleh at the time. He was never charged with a hate crime.

Outside the Adas Torah synagogue in Los Angeles last week, pro-Palestinian protestors blocked access to the entrance, chanted vile anti-Semitic remarks and brutally beat Jews. President Biden said he was “appalled” by the incident. California’s Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass condemned the riot. In the New York Post’s interview with him, Fuld called this incident a “pogrom”.

“You are not at home” overseas, warns Fuld in his social media post. “I look at my life and the life of most of my friends and family in Israel and I do not, in any way, believe that we are living a lower quality of life than [my wealthy friends outside of Israel].” This is not the Israel you may have envisioned 40 years ago; we have everything, Fuld states.

Things won’t get better in Paris, London, New York or Los Angeles; read the history books, says Fuld.

  1. I agree 💯 with Hillel. Its about time Jews considered going back home. They were never meant to be in captivity for good. Those Diaspora nations are not home.In the 1930’s some said ‘ We are not Jews but Germans. They cannot do anything to us’ .And the rest is history. My advice to them is have one foot in Israel and the other in theDiaspora.Anti semitismis not coming to an end soon becauseit is an ancient hatred.Anything can happen but at least you have a place you can call home.

  2. I want to endorse this message – I would plead with Jewish people in the Diaspora to return to Israel where you will be welcomed with open arms.

  3. In light of the almost daily attacks by Palestinians on Israelis I read about in the news, I have to question this fellow’s assertion that moving to Israel will mean that Diaspora Jews will be safe there.
    Let’s face reality.
