Iran says it may stop enriching uranium for one year. This is part of a possible deal with the U.S. In return, Iran wants billions in frozen money released and U.S. recognition of its right to enrich uranium for peaceful use, according to a report by Reuters and World Israel News.
The offer is not yet official in talks. It aims to build trust and restart stalled nuclear talks since the U.S. left the 2015 nuclear deal (JCPOA) under Trump.
Two Iranian officials said Iran is considering stopping enrichment for 12 months, turning some uranium into fuel plates, or sending it abroad under supervision. These steps are meant to show transparency.
The freeze depends on two main demands: release $6 billion frozen in Qatar since 2023 and recognize Iran’s right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes.
Iran wants the money with no conditions. If sanctions need lifting to do this, Iran wants that too.
The offer follows five rounds of indirect talks between Iran and the U.S. to improve relations and possibly make a new deal.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would check any freeze. Western officials want clear, verifiable limits. Europeans worry temporary deals won’t stop Iran’s nuclear progress.
Iran faces problems at home like inflation and energy shortages. It also faces U.S. sanctions and possible Israeli airstrikes. Its regional power is weakening.
Iran’s nuclear chief said U.S. inspectors might be allowed at nuclear sites if a deal is made. This is a big change because Iran usually refuses inspectors from countries it sees as hostile.
The biggest issue is sanctions. Iran wants all lifted immediately. The U.S. wants them lifted slowly based on Iran following the rules.
The U.S. blacklisted many Iranian groups since 2018. The Trump administration warned of military action if talks fail.
Now the offer is with Washington. If the Biden team sees a chance, talks may become official. But hardliners may fight it.
Israel is likely skeptical. It says any pause must include dismantling Iran’s nuclear work. Recognizing Iran’s enrichment rights could lead to weapons, Israel warns.
The next weeks will show if this offer leads to peace or just buys time. (TJV NEWS)

Strike now. We are out of time. Do it without forewarning to Trump. Destroy as much of Iran’s nuclear weapons system as possible. Attack all of its other weapon systems. If Iran responds at all, start taking out its oil fields and its oil storage facilities. If Iran continues and is not immediately fully deterred, destroy all of Iran’s oil capacity. Israel must survive at all costs.
And set off dirty nuclear bombs in every known Iranian nuclear weapons facilities so they become too radioactively hot to use. Track and kill the entire Iranian government. None should survive.
In 2010-2011 Israel was subjected to full scale insurrectionary treason by Israel’s bureaucratic government which prevented a full military attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons ordered by Netanyahu. The traitors in the Mossad, Shin Bet and IDF refused direct orders from Netanyahu. If that were to occur again, they need to be physically arrested and removed from office, and if Israel’s treasonous Supreme Court or AG attempt in any way anything similar, the same should occur to them.
Bomb them immediately and don’t stop.
