Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife were killed, according to a claim by fellow actor Randy Quaid.

Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 65, were discovered dead inside their Santa Fe, New Mexico, home last week under suspicious circumstances.

According to Quaid, who starred in 1996’s Independence Day, the pair were killed in some sort of ritual human sacrifice related to Hollywood.

“Gene Hackman and his wife are murder victims, some scum bags did it and staged it,” Quaid said in a viral X post on Saturday, going on to claim other actors like David Carradine and Heath Ledger were similarly murdered.

“Stop talking about the films he is in, this is how they get away with murdering famous people! Fake News starts generating film clips. How is it possible I know at least 6 people who have died like Carradine, Hackman, Ledger?”

The National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation actor did not speculate why someone would have wanted the actors dead.

In a follow-up post on X, Quaid claimed he has leads on “who” killed Hackman.

Quaid famously spoke out about “star whackers” and mentioned the deaths of Carradine and Ledger in a press conference in Oct. 2010 where he alleged someone was trying to kill him for his royalties.

“How many people do you know personally, who have died suddenly and mysteriously in the past five years?” Quaid asked reporters. “I have personally known eight actors, all of whom, all of whom I have worked with and was closely. Heath Ledger, Chris Penn, and David Carradine among them.”

“I believe these actors were whacked and I believe that many others, such as Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and Mel Gibson, are being played to get at their money.”

Hackman and his wife were mysteriously found dead inside their home last week with investigators still piecing together the scene, though they say there was no foul play suspected.

Their bodies were discovered in a decomposed state, with Hackman’s pacemaker last showing activity nine days before he was found, and a bottle of pills located near his wife’s body.

David Carradine reportedly died from autoerotic asphyxiation in Bangkok, Thailand, while Ledger supposedly died from an accidental drug overdose.
