According to the information provided in The JPost report, this visit, reportedly facilitated by Oman, was purportedly aimed at delivering messages intended to de-escalate tensions between Iran and Israel, particularly in the wake of high-profile assassinations of key figures within Hamas and Hezbollah.

Fox News also reported on these developments, indicating that the mission’s objective was to communicate to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, that the Biden-Harris administration had been “kept in the dark” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the assassinations, as was revealed in the information contained in The JPost report.

These operations included the killing of Fuad Shukr, a senior Hezbollah commander, and Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, who was assassinated in Tehran under mysterious circumstances.
