House Resolution Condemning Antisemitic Terror Attack
Dear Editor:
Antisemitism is the longest-running sin in the world. Christians have persecuted Jews for close to 2,000 years; Muslims for 1,400 years.
With the exception of short periods of enlightenment, Jews have never been fully accepted. They have been invited into nations, exploited and robbed and allowed to rebuild only to be robbed again. They have been thrown out whenever the rulers found it necessary.
From the Romans scattering the Israelites in 70 A.D., to Muhammad beheading the Jewish men and enslaving the women of Medina in the 7th century, to the Crusades, to the inquisition, to the Holocaust and to wars of genocide launched against Israel by its neighbors, Christians and Muslims have exhibited an inexplicable cruelty toward the minority in their midst, from which their religions sprang.
Do they hate the morality of the Ten Commandments? Do they chafe at a people who seem to overcome so much cruelty only to survive and, when allowed, to give the world learning, art, medicine and creativity far beyond what their numbers would predict?
Today, it’s the Palestinian hoax and the terror it entails. There is no Palestine. Palestinianism was an invention of the Soviet KGB in 1964. The KGB created the Palestine Liberation Army as a tool to diminish American influence in the Middle East. Their modus operandi was terrorism to popularize their ideas and destroy Israel. They recruited fighters from throughout MENA and called them ‘Palestinians’. The goal of Palestinianism remains the destruction of Israel.
Israel is the ‘Little Satan’. America is the ‘Great Satan’. Those who believe we can who mollify radical Islam by promoting a 2-state solution or ‘from the river to the sea’ are engaging in Jew-hatred, whether by ignorance or malice.
Sincerely

Kudos to Assemblywoman Jaime Williams
Dear Editor:
I am writing to give kudos and compliments to Jaime Williams who is my Assemblywoman from 59th District in Brooklyn. This district encompasses Canarsie, Georgetown, Mill Basin, Marine Park, Bergen Beach and my neighborhood Gerritsen Beach. Our neighborhood had a problem that was growing bigger every day. A homeless, obviously mentally ill man set up a makeshift camp around the corner from our home, and adjacent to our elementary school P.S. 277. Every day he collected discarded trash and piled it up. Before long there were broken beach umbrellas, plastic tarps, cans of gasoline, broken motorcycles and bicycles. He also had lithium batteries and a propane tank. This was a recipe for disaster. We also saw he had kept a pit bull dog inside the tent as well. His encampment occupied 2 parking spots right near where local people parked their cars.
Our neighborhood Home Owners Association contacted the offices of Jaime Williams and got immediately results. I personally spoke with Mr.Donald Cranston who listened to my concerns and explained what was being done. Within a couple of days the encampment was removed and the dangerous material and garbage carted away. This man was given the needed medical attention and a safe place to live. So now our children and Grandchildren can play in the playground and kick a soccer ball around on the surrounding grassy area knowing they are safe again.
Thank you Jamie Williams her assistant, Donald Cranston and the staff who work in their office. Neighbors of Gerritsen Beach thank you.
Sincerely,
Elissa Moldanado

A Warning on Arming Authoritarian Regimes
Dear Editor:
On June 16, an Israeli drone destroyed two Iranian F-14 fighter jets minutes before they were set to take off. These jets, once sold by the U.S. to Iran, serve as a reminder of the risks of arming unstable regimes.
Many may wonder how American-made jets ended up in Iran. The answer is simple: they were sold when Iran was an ally. This should serve as a warning to today’s policymakers. The United States must stop selling advanced weapons to authoritarian regimes in the Middle East.
Putting fighter jets like the F-35 in the hands of autocratic rulers is extremely risky. These regimes are inherently unstable, and history shows how quickly allies can turn into enemies. We must learn from the past and recognize the national security risks of arming regimes whose allegiance could change.
The U.S. should prioritize long-term security over short-term gains and place strict limits on weapon sales to regimes lacking democratic safeguards. Let the destruction of those F-14s serve as a cautionary tale of how quickly things can change.
Sincerely,
Moshe Phillips

Mamdani’s Call to “Globalize the Intifada”
Dear Editor:
Former New York State governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday conceded to State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani in New York City’s Democratic party primary, in a stunning defeat for a veteran politician during the campaign against his anti-Zionist opponent.
The majority of college graduates voted for Zohran. Most without a degree voted for Cuomo. This election confirms what we already know—American universities have become Marxist indoctrination centers.
This man calls to globalize the Intifada and considers capitalism a danger to society.
Mandani is an ardent BDS supporter & anti-Israel activist. We have until November to get this guy shut down.
A resurfaced video of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani declaring that he would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visited the city has gone viral on social media. The clip, originally aired in December during an interview with pro-Hamas commentator Mehdi Hasan, is once again making waves online.

Alarmed by Mamdani’s Candidacy
Dear Editor:
As a lifelong New Yorker, I am deeply alarmed by the candidacy of Zohran Mamdani for mayor. His embrace of radical socialist policies and inflammatory anti-Israel rhetoric pose a direct threat to the future of our city.
Mamdani’s platform is a blueprint for economic instability—dismantling the very systems that keep our city running. Calls to defund essential services under the guise of “equity” will only accelerate the decline of public safety and quality of life. And his open hostility toward Israel—America’s closest democratic ally in the Middle East—is not just divisive, it’s dangerous. It alienates thousands of Jewish New Yorkers and fuels campus-style extremism that has no place in our city government.
New York needs pragmatic leadership rooted in unity, not ideology. Mamdani’s vision is one of division and dysfunction, wrapped in slogans. We’ve seen the cost of radicalism in other cities—and we can’t afford to let it happen here.
New Yorkers deserve better.
Sincerely,
Chaim Guberman
