(TJV NEWS) Top Trump administration officials are criticizing The New York Times for omitting critical details about a man accused of raping a deceased individual on a New York City subway, particularly the fact that the suspect is an illegal immigrant.
On Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed that the suspect, 44-year-old Felix Rojas, is a Mexican national who has illegally entered the U.S. at least five times since 1998. He was arrested last Sunday and charged with rape and grand larceny in connection with an incident on April 8, in which authorities say he committed a sexual act on the body of a man who had died aboard a Manhattan subway car.
The New York Times refused to mention anywhere in its 400-word story on the monstrous rape of a corpse on the NYC subway that the depraved perpetrator is an ILLEGAL alien.

However, The New York Times, in its April 28 article about the case, described Rojas only as a “Brooklyn man” and did not mention his immigration status. The piece instead highlighted that Rojas came from a “churchgoing family with three children” and had no previous criminal record or inclusion on the sex offender registry.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin slammed the Times on Saturday, stating: “The Times didn’t mention anywhere in its 400-word story on the monstrous rape of a corpse on the NYC subway that the depraved perpetrator is an ILLEGAL alien. Why not report the facts, NYTimes?”

Stephen Miller, former White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, echoed the criticism. “Whether it’s ‘Brooklyn Man’ or ‘Maryland Dad,’ the media will always lie to protect criminal aliens,” Miller wrote on X.
Since President Trump took office, more than 150,000 illegal aliens have reportedly been apprehended in the U.S., many with serious criminal backgrounds, fueling ongoing concerns about border security and media transparency.

The message isn’t only that an illegal alien committed an unimaginably perverse act, but also that the Left has now made it clear that they see and would foist no difference on the United States between lawful American citizens and the most undesirable and offensive foreigners that American citizens would have to support and sacrifice for. The New York Times signaled that with their report here but truth be told we already knew that.
