The feud between former President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has erupted into a full-blown political spectacle, with both titans trading barbs over Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill”—a massive reconciliation package that includes record debt ceiling increases and cuts to electric vehicle incentives.
Trump, in a midnight social media post, lashed out at Musk for his increasingly vocal opposition to the bill. Musk has blasted the legislation as a “mountain of disgusting pork” and warned that slashing green energy subsidies would “destroy millions of jobs.” He accused lawmakers of “severely damaging industries of the future” while protecting “industries of the past.”
If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day.
Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.

Trump fired back, doubling down on his campaign promise to eliminate Biden-era EV mandates and mocking Musk’s reliance on government aid:
“Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history. Without them, he’d have to close shop and head back to South Africa,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Perhaps we should have DOGE look at how much taxpayer money he’s actually getting.”
In a controversial interview with the Daily Mail, Trump even floated the idea of deporting Musk—who is a naturalized U.S. citizen—saying, “I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look.”
Musk responded with thinly veiled sarcasm:
“So tempting to escalate this,” he wrote on X. “So, so tempting.”
The tech billionaire didn’t hold back over the weekend as the Senate advanced the bill, threatening to primary any lawmaker who supported it.
“If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day,” Musk posted. “Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.”
In a series of escalating posts, Musk branded the current bipartisan coalition the “Porky Pig Party” and vowed to expose every politician who voted for what he calls the biggest debt ceiling increase in American history.
“They will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” Musk wrote.
With Trump suggesting oversight into Musk’s businesses and Musk threatening to build an alternative political movement, the clash between the two once-allied figures has taken on the tone of an ideological and personal war—one that could reshape the GOP, or fracture it entirely.
