Laurie Cardoza-Moore, a prominent Evangelical Zionist and longtime advocate for Israel,  announced her resignation on Wednesday from the Heritage Foundation’s National Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, citing the organization’s continued support for Tucker Carlson as the reason for her departure.

Cardoza-Moore, who is the founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) and host of the globally broadcast program Focus on Israel, said the decision came after what she described as a deeply troubling response from Heritage President Kevin Roberts following Carlson’s recent interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

“Kevin Roberts’ statement after Tucker Carlson’s interview with Nick Fuentes was extremely concerning,” she said. “If the Heritage Foundation intends to remain on the right side of history, it must sever all connections with those who promote antisemitism.”

Cardoza-Moore explained that she initially joined the task force with the hope of strengthening efforts to combat global Jew-hatred but now feels compelled to step away unless the organization makes its stance unequivocally clear. “I accepted Heritage’s invitation to join this initiative as a way to confront antisemitism,” she said. “However, unless the foundation draws a clear moral boundary, I cannot in good conscience continue. America was founded on Judeo-Christian values — the very principles that define our biblical heritage. Tucker Carlson has repudiated those roots and replaced them with an ignorant populism that echoes the ideology of Aryan supremacy.”

The PJTN founder did not mince words about Carlson himself, calling him “a dangerous antisemite” who spreads “falsehoods that endanger Jewish lives around the world.”

“The Heritage Foundation has long presented itself as a moral compass for American conservatism,” Cardoza-Moore added. “It is past time for the organization to condemn Tucker Carlson and the so-called ‘Woke Right,’ and to urge national leaders — including the Vice President — to do the same. You cannot claim to fight antisemitism while simultaneously enabling those who inflame it.”
