(TJV NEWS) The 2025 Israel Summit, originally scheduled for June 9–11 in Dallas, Texas, has been indefinitely postponed following escalating security threats that organizers say made the event untenable.

The conference, which anticipated more than 1,000 attendees, had already faced a last-minute venue change due to rising concerns over the safety of participants. The Algemeiner reports.

Planned as a gathering of prominent Jewish and Christian supporters of Israel, the summit was to feature speakers including former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. In a social media statement following the cancellation, Friedman remarked, “This is what America looks like in 2025. A peaceful pro-Israel gathering with more than a thousand participants had to be scrapped because of threats from violent extremists.” The Algemeiner reports.

Just ten days prior to the summit, local law enforcement and intelligence officials in Dallas informed organizers that the gathering had been elevated to a “high-threat event,” triggering urgent efforts to meet strict security requirements. According to Josiah Hilton, host of The Israel Guys, the summit team was instructed to create a comprehensive security plan costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. The Algemeiner reports.

Organizers relocated the event to a secluded venue in Kenneth, Texas, in an attempt to safeguard attendees. However, the new location was soon exposed online by anti-Israel groups, including the Palestinian Youth Movement Dallas and Jewish Voice for Peace—two organizations known for their vocal support of Hamas.

“The Genocide Summit had to change plans last minute in desperation due to them claiming to be ‘under attack,’” wrote Palestinian Youth Movement Dallas on Instagram. “The reality is they understand DFW’s commitment to confronting the extremist ideology that is Zionism.” The Algemeiner reports.

Following the breach, organizers felt they had no choice but to cancel the summit altogether. Still, they pledged to reschedule the event in the near future, promising it would return “bigger and stronger, with more people.”

Hilton characterized the cancellation as symptomatic of a disturbing trend: “the growing normalization of antisemitic threats and anti-Israel extremists, which are fueling intimidation and silencing voices of support for Israel across the United States.” The Algemeiner reports.

The fears surrounding the Dallas event reflect a broader atmosphere of violence against pro-Israel voices in America. Just last month, two staffers from the Israeli Embassy—Yaron Lipschinsky and Sarah Milgrim—were murdered after attending an American Jewish Committee event in Washington, D.C.

And only days ago, a pro-Israel rally in Boulder, Colorado was firebombed, leaving 15 people and a dog injured. The Algemeiner reports.

  1. The organizers must figure it out or there will be no pro-Israel events in the future anywhere in the USA.
