Neo-Nazi groups held rallies in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend, engaging in hate speech and destructive actions, including the removal of LGBTQ Pride flags near the entrance to Walt Disney World, and naturally ranting about Jews.
The bizzare and vile assembly of Nazi freaks included Ukrainian Nazis who claimed to support President Biden and another Nazi group claiming to support Florida Gov Ron De Santis for president.
Many on social media, were quick to claim the Nazi groups were Federal agents
Videos shared on social media depicted these disturbing events, with the neo-Nazi groups marching through north Orlando on Saturday, brandishing swastika flags and chanting slogans like “Heil Hitler” and “We are everywhere.”
Florida Representative Anna V. Eskamani shared one of these videos, captured near Cranes Roost Park in the town center, expressing concern about the growing far-right extremism in Florida.
Far-right activist and former Congressional candidate Laura Loomer also posted a video of the march, attributing the event to the Goyim Defense League hate group, which directed antisemitic slurs at her.
Notable white supremacist Jon Minadeo and Christopher Pohlhaus, the leader of the Neo-Nazi Blood Tribe group, were spotted in the videos.
Pohlhaus made a statement in one video indicating he would vote for President Biden in 2024 due to his support for Ukraine, where the far-right volunteer military group, Azov Battalion, is involved.
Meanwhile, another group expressed their support for Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Prior to the rally in Orlando, members of the local Florida neo-Nazi network, Order of the Black Sun, were witnessed giving the Nazi salute and vandalizing pride flags outside Disney World. This unsettling scene mirrored a previous incident when hate groups displayed Nazi flags and banners near a campaign rally for DeSantis at the theme park in June.
These events were partly attributed to Disney World’s involvement in a political dispute with Governor DeSantis over his controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The Anti-Defamation League had issued warnings to Florida officials about the planned Neo-Nazi demonstration over the Labor Day weekend.
These recent Neo-Nazi marches in Florida occurred just a week after a racially motivated attack by Ryan Palmer, 21, who fatally shot three black individuals in a predominantly black neighborhood at a Jacksonville Dollar General store.
