Tump Administration Reportedly Explores Moving Palestinians from Gaza to Libya
(TJV NEWS) Up to one million Palestinians could be permanently relocated from Gaza to Libya under a proposal being considered by President Trump’s administration, according to a report by Sky News.
As Sky News reported, the plan, still in early stages, has reportedly been discussed with Libyan officials and may involve unlocking billions of dollars in frozen Libyan assets to support the effort.
Libya, nearly 14 years after the fall of Muammar Gaddafi, remains split between rival governments vying for control—making it a highly unstable location for such a large-scale resettlement.
The reported proposal surfaces amid Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza. On Friday alone, Israeli airstrikes killed 93 people and injured hundreds more, according to local medical sources, Sky News noted. Footage from Sky’s team on the ground showed casualties being brought to Gaza’s Indonesian Hospital.
No official agreement has been reached regarding the Libya relocation plan, sources told NBC News, which partners with Sky News in the U.S. Additionally, American government agencies reportedly declined to comment when contacted by NBC.
The idea of resettling Palestinians outside Gaza—whether voluntary or forced—has long been controversial and sparked condemnation from many Arab nations, who are expected to play a central role in Gaza’s reconstruction following any potential ceasefire.

Birds of a feather. Excellent place for them.
