Three Israeli Jews were violently assaulted in an antisemitic brawl in a popular tourist hotspot in Thailand this week.

The attack occurred on Monday night, while the three Israeli tourists were at a bar on the Thai island of Ko Samui.

At one point, a group of French tourists of North African origin heard the Israelis speaking in Hebrew and confronted them, saying: “You are Israelis.”

The group of French nationals chased the Israelis, who sought refuge in the bathroom after they were unable to flee out a back door.

However, their assailants broke down the door and brutally assaulted them, while demanding they hand over everything they had in their pockets.

During the pursuit and the ensuing assault, the perpetrators shouted “Kill all the Jews” in Arabic, while accusing the victims of being IDF soldiers, the sister of one of the victims told Israel’s Channel 12.

She claimed that security guards working at the bar joined the assailants in beating the Israeli men.

After the assault, two Israeli women present at the bar assisted the victims, calling for help and aiding them in filing a police report on the attack.

The sister of one of the victims said that her brother suffered major injuries during the assault.

“His ribs, teeth, and vertebrae were broken,” she said, adding that his insurance company and the Israeli embassy in Thailand are working to have him flown back to Israel as soon as possible.

The three young men are friends who traveled to Thailand for a vacation, the sister added, noting that her brother managed to call their mother while he was trying to escape through a back door.

“My mother saw everything,” she said.
