(TJV NEWS) Iran has sparked alarm after sharing imagery appearing to depict a missile strike destroying Tel Aviv, accompanied by warnings directed at Israel amid the rapidly escalating conflict in the Middle East, according to reporting by Daily Express.

The image, circulated on social media by accounts associated with Iran’s leadership, shows what appears to be a powerful missile striking Israel’s coastal metropolis. As the Daily Express reported, the post referenced the Khorramshahr ballistic missile, a long-range weapon named after an Iranian city, suggesting the system could be used in a future attack against Israel.

The message accompanying the image warned that Israel had committed a “big mistake” and suggested severe consequences could follow. The post also vowed that retaliation would come “by God’s grace” against what Iran frequently refers to as the “Zionist regime,” according to the Express report.

The imagery appears to depict Tel Aviv’s recognizable skyline and Israeli flag as the target of the simulated strike, heightening fears that Tehran is escalating its rhetoric to include nuclear-style threats as hostilities deepen. Analysts cited by the outlet said the messaging appears designed as psychological warfare while the region braces for further confrontation.

The warning comes as tensions between Iran and Israel have surged dramatically in recent days following large-scale Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iranian military and nuclear-related infrastructure. Iran has responded with waves of missiles and drones targeting Israeli cities, fueling fears the conflict could spiral into a broader regional war.

According to the Express report, the threatening imagery was released as both sides continue to exchange attacks, with Iran signaling that more severe retaliation could follow if Israeli strikes continue.

Israel has long warned that Iran’s missile program and nuclear ambitions pose an existential threat to the Jewish state. Tehran, meanwhile, insists its nuclear program is for civilian purposes, though its leadership has repeatedly issued harsh warnings toward Israel during periods of heightened conflict.
