(JEWISH VOICE NEWS) Federal authorities have taken a Virginia man into custody nearly five years after pipe bombs were discovered outside both the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021 — the night before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. According to reporting from ZeroHedge, the FBI says the suspect is now expected to face charges connected to placing those devices, which were determined to be functional explosives capable of causing “serious injury or death.”
The FBI has not yet released identifying details about the man. However, MS Now reported that investigators linked him to online statements expressing support for anarchist ideas. Zero Hedge explained that this adds yet another unexpected layer to a case that has confounded federal investigators for years.

Despite an extensive investigative effort — over 1,000 interviews, more than 39,000 video files reviewed, and upward of 600 public tips — the arrest reportedly came from “the same trove of material” gathered back in 2021 and 2022, according to two unnamed sources cited by MS Now. As ZeroHedge noted, this raises questions about why the Biden administration had the relevant evidence for more than three years without making an arrest.
Images released early in the investigation showed a hooded, masked suspect walking in areas near the RNC and DNC. The devices were found and safely disabled soon afterward.
The mystery surrounding the bombs has fueled speculation for years. In November 2024, conservative commentator Dan Bongino, who is now the deputy FBI Director, argued on his program that government officials were concealing the bomber’s identity. “This was a setup. I have zero doubt,” he said, alleging a possible anti-Trump connection or inside involvement — comments that were highlighted by ZeroHedge.
Last month, Blaze Media published a forensic analysis pointing to a former U.S. Capitol Police officer as a potential match. The outlet reported that her distinctive walking pattern — the result of a past sports injury — appeared similar to the suspect’s gait when analyzed by comparison software.
Former FBI agent Kyle Seraphin told Blaze News that his team conducted surveillance near that woman’s residence immediately after Jan. 6, only to have their assignment abruptly terminated. Requests to interview an individual associated with her movements were also allegedly blocked. As Zero Hedge explained, this created further doubt about the investigation’s direction — and now raises questions about whether the wrong person has been arrested or whether that lead simply went nowhere.
The Blaze findings were contested by Headline USA and journalist Breanna Morello, who said the analysis did not hold up to scrutiny.

Concern over the FBI’s handling of the case has been shared by lawmakers and oversight officials. Congressional inquiries and the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general have examined delays and inconsistencies in the response. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) later released surveillance footage showing Secret Service agents taking roughly two minutes to react after learning a device had been found outside the DNC. The video showed agents remaining in their SUV, eating lunch, and allowing pedestrians and cars to pass within close range of the bomb.
A House committee report released earlier this year further detailed multiple breakdowns across law-enforcement agencies — including failures to detect the explosives earlier and lapses in securing the area once the bombs were discovered.
As ZeroHedge emphasized, the sudden arrest of a male suspect after years of investigative drift has only intensified questions about what investigators knew, when they knew it, and why earlier leads were abandoned.

Unsurprisingly, his newly disclosed photographs show a BLACK criminal.
This headline is fraud: what “ Lingering Questions Over Investigation”? It is OBVIOUS that the Democrat administration failed and refused to properly investigate! Earlier leads were abandoned because they are DEMOCRAT TRAITORS!
