As New York City heads into a critical mayoral primary, a shocking political insurgency is gaining momentum, one that could redefine the nation’s largest city for generations. Zohran Kwame Mamdani, a 33-year-old Democratic Socialist, radical Islamic activist, and New York State Assemblyman, is no ordinary candidate. He is the embodiment of the radical Red-Green Alliance, a fusion of far-left Marxism and hardline Islamic activism, now knocking on the door of Gracie Mansion.

Backed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Working Families Party, Mamdani’s campaign began as a fringe socialist fantasy. But it has rapidly gained traction among young radicals, Islamist organizers, and grievance-based coalitions. With polls showing him trailing only former Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mamdani is on the verge of transforming a long-shot campaign into a historic, and dangerous, victory.

Behind Mamdani’s slogans of “affordable housing” and “social justice” lies a calculated ideological mission. His campaign is not about improving municipal governance. It is a coordinated effort to subvert and remake New York’s political, cultural, and religious fabric from within, using the ballot box to advance the goals of anti-American Islamists and anti-capitalist revolutionaries.

A deeper look into Mamdani’s background reveals a troubling web of extremist associations, radical mentors, and political motivations that have little to do with public service and everything to do with ideological conquest. He was born in Uganda to Mahmood Mamdani, a notorious anti-colonial academic, and Mira Nair, a leftist filmmaker known for promoting identity grievance narratives. Since arriving in the U.S. at age seven, Mamdani has used his privilege, rent-free housing, nepotistic film jobs, and elite education not to serve the public, but to advance a revolutionary agenda.

At Bowdoin College, he co-founded the campus’s first chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), a group tied to Hamas sympathizers and known for violent anti-Israel rhetoric. The group’s founder, Hatem Bazian, infamously called for an “intifada” in the U.S. Mamdani has since worked across the country to push socialist policies and build political alliances with extremist networks, especially within the Muslim activist sphere.

His legislative record is underwhelming: just three bills passed, and he has missed over half of the Assembly votes. However, in a political era driven by identity over competency, Mamdani’s lack of experience is overlooked by those eager to see the rise of America’s first openly Muslim socialist mayor.

This is no ordinary campaign, it is an ideological occupation in slow motion. And unless exposed and confronted, New York City may soon fall under the control of a man whose loyalties lie not with American values, but with those who seek to dismantle them.

RAIR Foundation USA previously investigated Mamdani’s alarming rise. Today, we reveal more troubling evidence about his deep ties to Islamic front groups, anti-American radicals, and the broader global movement to use democracy as a Trojan horse for civilizational conquest.
