The confrontation occurred at their home in Colorado Springs, where the couple resided with their infant daughter. Following this argument, Livelsberger left home the day after Christmas, setting off a chain of events that culminated in tragedy.

After leaving Colorado, Livelsberger rented a Tesla Cybertruck via the Turo app and drove to Las Vegas. As The New York Post reported, on New Year’s Day, he parked the vehicle outside the Trump International Hotel, detonated explosives inside the Cybertruck, and fatally shot himself. Seven individuals sustained minor injuries from the blast, but remarkably, no major structural damage occurred, thanks to the unique design of the Cybertruck.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk addressed the incident on social media, stating, “The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.
