Northwell Health has unveiled a $18.6 million state-of-the-art 14,000-square-foot multispecialty health center in the heart of Manhattan’s Hudson Yards located at 525 West 36th Street. Designed to meet the diverse needs of the local community, the two-floor medical practice houses comprehensive primary care, orthopedic and neurology programs, as well as access to top-tier imaging services. The space was meticulously designed to offer patients seamless, interdisciplinary care under one roof with access to a robust array of specialized services and advanced technologies.

“Northwell Health continues to set the standard in medicine by leveraging advanced facilities, cutting-edge technologies and specialized services to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and deliver compassionate care,” said Michael Dowling, president and CEO of Northwell Health. “The expansion into Hudson Yards further reinforces our mission to improve the health and well-being of all New Yorkers.”

The patient-centric internal medicine program, operated by Northwell’s Concorde Medical Group, extends beyond traditional primary care by offering advanced services, including resources that promote women’s health; services for members in our LGBTQIA+ community; general and travel vaccinations; as well as contraception management and cancer screening. The expansive practice features 12 exam rooms and a bariatric suite and employs five board-certified internists, a physician assistant and an advanced nurse practitioner.

The neurology practice, located on the same floor and adjacent to primary care, includes three exam rooms and a dedicated procedure room, where a highly specialized team of experts utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques to analyze brain and spine function for neurological and neuromuscular abnormalities. The neurology care team brings years of expertise in holistic treatments – as well as proficiency in neurophysiology – to treat a broad array of neurological conditions from neuromuscular disorders to traumatic brain injury.

The orthopedic practice offers a wide range of musculoskeletal services, including surgical and non-surgical care across many subspecialties. The program is home to experts in sports medicine, joint replacement, spine, hand and wrist, and foot and ankle care. The clinical team is comprised of nine orthopedic surgeons, a primary care sports medicine physician and advanced care providers. In addition to 11 exam rooms, the site features a high-tech imaging suite with a wide opening MRI and digital X-ray equipment, enabling prompt and precise diagnosis and treatment.

“Our new multispecialty practice, which brings a broad range of specialized services together under one roof, represents a significant milestone for both Hudson Yards and the wider Manhattan community,” said Kevin Beiner, senior vice president and regional executive director of Northwell’s Western Region. “This destination site enhances convenience for patients and ensures that they receive coordinated, high-quality care right in their own neighborhood, reflecting our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve.”

Northwell Health is nationally recognized for exceptional clinical care and outstanding patient outcomes. Recent U.S. News & World Report ratings make it the most awarded health system in New York State two years in a row. Its flagship hospital in Manhattan, Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, is world-renowned for its orthopedic and neurological expertise. Newsweek has named the facility among its list of the “World’s Best Specialized Hospitals” of 2024 for neurology and orthopedics while U.S. News ranked it among the top 50 hospitals in the country for neurological care. The prestigious publication also deemed the orthopedics department “High Performing.”

Lenox Hill orthopedics has earned Healthgrades’ coveted five-star rating for back surgery for two consecutive years and the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for total hip and knee replacements for ten consecutive years.
