Feeding Frenzy

Dear Editor:

MSNBC’s Joy Reid has a history of feeding off Israel haters. She recently gobbled up anti-Zionist Peter Beinart’s completely inaccurate venomous Big Lies so enthusiastically she almost choked on them.

Honest Reporting refuted each false assertion by each of these morally bankrupt and just plain ignorant duo whose failure to do any even basic research on facts, while spewing anti-Israel venom, disgraces them both.

“Reid presents a convoluted map of the West Bank to make it seem that the disputed territory is being devoured by Israeli settlements, security zones and nature preserves. Reid concludes with the claim that in the West Bank, the “Palestinians have almost nothing left…this is a misleading representation of reality. Reid fails to inform her audience that under the Oslo Accords, which were negotiated between Israel and the Palestinians, the PA has full civil control over 40% of the West Bank, that settlements currently take up less than 10% of West Bank land and that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians live in the area assigned to Israel by the Accords. Thus, the claim that “Palestinians have almost nothing left” is simply untrue.”

“… Reid’s claim that the violence is being perpetrated by desperate people with limited options is an overt simplification that does not take into account the rejectionist nature of Palestinian terror groups, the hundreds of millions of dollars that are provided by Iran to support this ongoing wave of violence and the historic existence of Palestinian terrorism during periods of peace…Desperation is not a legitimate justification for the use of violence against civilians. Reid’s words are a dangerous distortion of reality as they not only mislead the audience but seek to vindicate the Palestinian violence that has terrorized innocent Israeli civilians.”

Beinart skewed facts to Reid in order to justify calling Israel “apartheid.” Beinart is out of control. He needs to be condemned and shunned by all Jewish newspapers, not because of differing ‘opinions’, but because he lacks factual knowledge then skews facts, while he calls for an end to Israel as a Jewish State. I encourage all to write to Rashida Jones, Pres. of MSNBC, as I did, ([email protected]) provide her with downloaded pamphlets on Myths & Facts, and ask her where are her standards for accurate reporting? When you permit Reid to spew inaccurate vile, I must ask you, who is next? This sets a dangerous precedent for Big Lies being repeated over and over until they are believed. It disgraces your news station and your position as President.

Issue your apology and Reid’s apology, and corrections of each falsehood, to the Jewish Community, to Israel and all who value facts, not falsehoods and to all who value accurate reporting.

Sincerely
Ginette Weiner

The “Sound of Freedom” was Devastating

Dear Editor:

I recently saw the movie, ‘Sound of Freedom” in a theater and was completely devastated by the story. No wonder it’s a box office hit. Its vivid reality as to the South American cartels’ ownership and complete domination of the sex trade in children and how this evil thrives in spite of its openness to the law enforcement agencies of both American continents, was the hidden story. The film’s brutality left its mark on me even days later. You’ve got to see it.

I was taken aback by the lack of mention of the open borders between our country and Mexico that permits children to be moved into our country, handed off to cartel agents and then totally disappear: To be sold off in the child sex slave markets or to private individuals who will use them and then do whatever to them. Even murder them when they are no longer attractive to their owners. Back to the slavery we’ve been told is no longer an issue. Was I the only one who had this image of a hidden message?

I’m concerned that both our current President and our former leader, Obama, must have been aware of this slave trade going on right beneath their noses. They believe in open borders. No way could our law enforcement agencies not have had this criminality in their sights even many years ago. Right now, this instant, many children of all ages are being openly taken across our southern borders, without their accompanying adults having to hand over paperwork proving that these youngsters are their legal children. They just walk in holding their hands, and then once in our country are given to cartel agents who drive off with their valuable cargo of helpless, child-to-be-sex-slaves. It’s a good bet, now knowing for sure, the Biden Crime Family’s will-full involvement in illegal enterprises, that they are on the payroll of the cartels, along with their other employers, China, Ukraine, Russia, and G-d knows what other nation. If it brings in money, the Biden’s are sure to be in on it.

Again, I’m shocked not only by the story enacted so well on the screen, but the silence of others about the possibility that our government’s leadership is working hand-in-hand with the cartels to foster, protect and broaden the sex-slavery-child-sex trade in our hemisphere. Follow the money trail.

Who is Funding Left Wing Rallies in Israel?

Dear Editor:

Let’s recognize the difference between the left-wing and right-wing rallies that have been blocking Israeli roads and emboldening Israel’s enemies.

The left-wing rallies are orchestrated and funded by Americans who have no respect for Israel’s democratic elections. They want regime change and to ensure they have unfettered access to Israel’s Supreme Court.

The right-wing rallies are local, demonstrating confidence in their choice of leaders and willing to consider changes to national institutions. The judicial changes are meant to bring Israel’s Supreme Court more in line with Western democracies.

Can anyone sincerely believe any of these protesters are legal experts?

Loves the Weekly Parsha

Dear Editor:

Just wanted to let you folks know how much I enjoy your Torah articles and Jewish feature stories that you present each week. I am not internet savvy so your print edition is the preferred format for me as I sit back in my favorite recliner and read the Jewish Voice.  As someone who used to regularly attend the Torah classes by the late Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis, of blessed memory, on the upper east side of Manhattan, I am beyond thrilled to read her daughter’s parsha articles. Chaya Sora Jungreis-Gertzulin’s explanations of the weekly sedra are, in my opinion, indispensible, for anyone who really wants to comprehend and absorb the eternal lessons that the Torah teaches us.

Speaking of which, in a few short days, we will commemorate the Rebbetzin’s yahrzeit and I think the greatest tribute to her memory is to continue presenting her teachings through the pen of her daughters and sons. This wonderful Rebbetzin is sorely missed by all who had the distinct honor of knowing her and imbibing the wisdom she shared.

Sincerely
