After a pair of shootings in Seattle’s Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) zone over the weekend, local leaders and organizers have spoken out over safety concerns in the area.
A second shooting Sunday, left a 17 year old hospitalized. On Friday 1 was killed and another seriously injured in the Seattle “CHOP” area, Capitol Hill Organized Protest’ zone.
Numerous social media reports from the area have claimed, that there have been roving gangs of rapists, invading locals apartments who happen to be in the protest area. One report from a social media journalist claimed that African American transsexuals are breaking into apartments and raping white women in front of their husbands and boyfriends. This sounds outlandish and provocative, however knowing the relative media blackout from Seattle, anything is possible.
Only last week, before the shootings, as social media reports highlighted violent robberies and fights, the Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan called the lawless zone, a peaceful protest and compared it to Woodstock’s “summer of love” .
The mayor began shifting her view of CHOP, initially she made a statement indicating she was still willing to allow the zone to exist, later moday evening she completely reversed course. “Working with Chief Scoggins, Chief Best, and other City departments, the City will continue to make changes on Capitol Hill in partnership with Black-led community organizations, demonstrators, small businesses, residents, and trusted messengers who will center de-escalation,” Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan said in a written statement, issued prior to Sunday night’s shooting.

Mayor Jenny Durkan said at a news conference that the violence was distracting from changes sought by thousands of peaceful protesters seeking to address racial inequity and police brutality. She said the city is working with the community to bring the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” zone to an end.
“The cumulative impacts of the gatherings and protests and the nighttime atmosphere and violence has led to increasingly difficult circumstances for our businesses and residents,” Durkan said. “The impacts have increased and the safety has decreased.”
Meanwhile social media reports from the area, show how clownish and deranged the entire scene in Seattle is. Caucasian protesters are being treated as second class citizens and segregation is literally being practiced and the segregation policies enforced by white millennials !!

Because apparently, segregation is now progressive.
The clip shows a man asking a white woman at what time the “Black Out” ends.
“Thing is, I’m half Italian and half Columbian so do I get a pass to get in there?” he asks.
“Well this space is held right now for just black people,” she responds.
She she tells him, “If you have black ancestry, if you’ve experienced oppression because you are black then you can enter this space.”
