(TJV NEWS) A Gulfstream V private jet, reportedly carrying Ely Gindi, Isaac Ash, and their families, encountered a malfunction and crashed during landing at Cabo San Lucas International Airport on Thursday afternoon. Thankfully, both Jewish families from Brooklyn, New York, emerged uninjured.
The jet, identified by tail number N1948Z, had taken off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey at 2:21 p.m. and touched down in Cabo at 4:28 p.m. local time. Upon landing on Runway 29, the aircraft veered off the runway and came to a stop near the edge of the airfield.
Footage shared on social media captures the scene in the aftermath, showing emergency crews responding while passengers disembark calmly. In one video, an emotional voice can be heard expressing thanks to God with the Hebrew phrase “Thank you Hakadosh Baruch Hu.”

“A few seconds of fear, then a Pesach miracle,” said someone close to the families, referencing the upcoming Passover holiday, which the group had reportedly traveled to Mexico to celebrate.
Preliminary reports suggest a landing issue may have caused the plane to leave the runway.
