Jewish Voice Exclusive: The Koranic Basis for Relocation of Palestinians
By: Dr. Dmitry Radyshevsky – www.radyshevsky.com
How can the Palestinians and the Muslim world as a whole swallow a voluntary Exodus of the Palestinians from Israel? Isn’t this Trump’s plan a humiliation for the Palestinians and a violation of the will of Allah? Quite the opposite – on both counts.
How can the Palestinians and the Muslim world as a whole swallow the voluntary Exodus of the Palestinians from Israel? Isn’t this a humiliation for the Palestinians and a violation of the will of Allah? Quite the opposite – on both counts.
The Palestinians (or rather, the Arab migrants who temporarily settled in the Land of Israel) should be proud: they fulfilled the will of Allah. They guarded the land of Bani Yisrail (children of Israel) while they were in exile, and when Allah fulfilled His promise and returned Bani Yisrail to the land He promised them, the Arabs took their generous payment for performing the house-keeping job and departed with honors.
In this, they will be the most respected servants of Allah and Allah will surely bless them and all the countries that accept them. Especially Egypt – where most of the Gazans came from in the 19th and 20th centuries. Allah will bless them if they voluntarily accept Trump’s offer. Or curse them if they refuse.
The Koran is a Zionist book
Yes, it is. This is not something Muslims are willing to admit, because after the resurrection of Israel in 1948, most Muslim preachers began to interpret the Koran politically – anti-Zionist, that is, contrary to the direct meaning of the text of the Koran.
But the fact is that Israel is mention 43 times in the Koran, while Palestine is not mentioned once. Multiple surahs make it clear that Allah gave Bani Yisrail (children of Israel) their land – Israel – in a covenant Allah made with them, and they will return: to the glory of Allah and benefit of all nations.
A few quotes from the Koran
Surah 2.40 “O children of Israel! Remember My favors upon you. Fulfil your covenant and I will fulfil Mine, and stand in awe of Me ˹alone˺.”
Surah 2.47 “O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.”
Surah 5.21 “O my people! Enter the holy land which God has promised you; but do not turn back [on your faith], for then you will be lost!”
Additionally, Islam teaches that everything is the will of Allah. This means that Allah chose the Jews as the winners of four major wars (1948, 1967, 1973, 1982 and the 2023-2025 current one, plus a bunch of secondary in between), and that backs up what the Koran says.
Conditional Inheritance
Muslim clerics (sheikhs and imams) and scholars (ulemas) argue that while the Koran recognizes a historical connection between Bani Yisrail, the Israelites, and the Holy Land, it also emphasizes that possession of this land is conditional upon righteousness. Surah Al-Anbiya (21:105) says: “My righteous servants shall inherit the land.”
This suggests that moral and spiritual adherence to God’s commands is a prerequisite for maintaining control over the land. This is exactly the position of most Orthodox Jews: we must strive to become righteous and then the Almighty will help us resolve the Palestinian problem, which was the punishment (or rather, the way to correct) our unrighteousness:
«They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation» (Deuteronomy 32:21).
Moreover, the “non-god” by whose worship we annoyed the Creator, and “vanities” with which we provoked God’s anger – is the secular ideology of the architects of Oslo: idols, completely discredited and hopefully abandoned by Israel after this ongoing Simhat Torah war. Cycles of Loss and Restoration.
Other Islamic scholars point out that the Koran narrates episodes where the Israelites were granted dominion over the Holy Land but lost it due to their transgressions. Surah Bani Yisrail (17:4-8) describes how their disobedience led to their expulsion and eventual restoration. This cyclical pattern reinforces the idea that divine favor is contingent upon obedience to God. God-loving Israelis totally agree with this Koranic teaching which is a pure Torah, and try to make themselves and the rest of Israel live in the obedience to God.
Muslim Zionism
120 years ago, Christian Zionism seemed like a curiosity. There were perhaps a few dozen Christian Zionists in the world: in England and in Holland. Today, there are tens of millions of Christian Zionists in the world – on all continents. They are President Trump’s main electorate and Israel’s best friends. I dare to prophesy that in 50 years the same will happen with the Muslim Zionism.
Today, there are only a few dozen Muslim Zionists in the world who publicly affirm that the Koran recognizes a unique covenant between God and the Jewish people regarding the Holy Land. For example, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Husseini, a British imam, highlights that traditional Islamic commentaries from as early as the 8th century uniformly interpret the above quoted Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:21) as evidence of God’s promise to the Israelites. That surah reflects Moses’ command for his people to enter and inhabit the land as per God’s decree.
Soon this and similar voices will become mainstream in the Muslim world. The Abraham Accords have already created the basis for the emergence of millions of Muslim Zionists. I am sure that there are already thousands or hundreds of thousands of them. They are just silent for now.
The Koranic endorsement of the voluntary relocation of Palestinians will help them leave the closet.
