Trump at Oval Office Meeting: “ Schumer is a Palestinian; He’s Not Jewish Anymore”

By: Fern Sidman

In a bold and unapologetic statement that speaks volumes about his unwavering support for Israel and America’s traditional allies, President Trump delivered a stinging rebuke of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) during a meeting in the Oval Office on Wednesday. Speaking in front of reporters while hosting Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Trump didn’t mince words, accusing Schumer of having effectively abandoned his Jewish identity in favor of political appeasement to anti-Israel radicals.

“Schumer is a Palestinian as far as I’m concerned. You know, he’s become a Palestinian. He used to be Jewish. He’s not Jewish anymore. He’s a Palestinian,” Trump declared in his signature no-holds-barred style.

Trump’s statement, while provocative, reflects a growing frustration among conservatives and pro-Israel advocates who view Schumer as having compromised his longstanding support for Israel in an attempt to placate the far-left wing of the Democratic Party—a wing that has become increasingly hostile toward the Jewish state.

President Trump’s remarks come just days after his first address to Congress in his second term, where he fiercely criticized Democrats for a pattern of weakness, appeasement, and betrayal of America’s allies. The President made it clear that, under his leadership, there will be no ambiguity about where the United States stands: firmly and unapologetically with Israel.

While Schumer has long postured himself as a pro-Israel Democrat, his increasingly equivocal stance on the Israel-Hamas war has earned him scorn from both sides of the aisle. On the left, radical progressives have demanded that Schumer go further in condemning Israel and supporting Palestinian grievances. On the right, and especially among the growing America First movement, Schumer is seen as retreating from his Jewish heritage and acquiescing to anti-Israel agitators within his own party.

Schumer has not responded to President Trump’s remarks—but his silence is telling. As criticism mounts over his increasingly tepid defense of Israel, the Democratic leader’s refusal to defend himself only adds fuel to the perception that he is more interested in preserving political alliances with anti-Israel activists than standing by the Jewish homeland.

President Trump’s criticism is not simply about rhetoric—it’s about loyalty, values, and moral clarity. While Chuck Schumer tries to play both sides, Trump continues to lead with bold conviction and moral clarity, recognizing that Israel’s fight is not just about its own survival but about preserving the very values that bind America and its closest ally.

Under President Trump, the United States has been Israel’s most reliable partner in modern history. From recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, to brokering historic Abraham Accords that ushered in a new era of peace in the region, to cutting off funding to terror-affiliated entities, Trump has consistently delivered on his promises.

Compare that to Chuck Schumer and his Democrat colleagues, many of whom have stood silently—or worse, spoken in support of anti-Israel resolutions—while Iranian-backed terrorist proxies such as Hamas and Hezbollah continue their campaign of violence and hatred. The contrast could not be more glaring.

The broader issue here is the radical shift within the Democratic Party. Once a reliable partner in supporting Israel, today’s Democrat Party is increasingly dominated by figures who demonize Israel and undermine American foreign policy interests in the Middle East. Leaders such as Trump have been sounding the alarm, and Schumer’s silence in the face of this ideological hijacking only proves the point.

When  Schumer refuses to stand forcefully with Israel, he’s not just betraying the Jewish state—he’s betraying the principles of strength, freedom, and civilization that America is built upon.

As 2025 unfolds, President Trump’s message is clear: There will be no tolerance for weakness, no patience for betrayal, and no place in national leadership for those who turn their backs on our allies to curry favor with radical ideologues.

The battle lines are drawn. On one side stands President Trump—resolute, principled, and unwavering in his defense of Israel and Western values. On the other stands Chuck Schumer—hedging, equivocating, and abandoning the very identity he once claimed to uphold.

As Trump leads with strength and clarity, Americans can rest assured that their allies will be protected, their enemies confronted, and their values defended—without apology.

    • More like a Capo than a Nazi. Capos had an excuse though. There was a gun to their heads at all times. What is Schumer’s excuse?

  1. Qatar, which planned 9-11, and funds, protects and sponsors Hamas, had been adopted by numerous members of the Trump government. Trump is personally complicit.

  2. He is 100% right. Schumer has not been loyal to Israel. Thank you President Trump for your unwavering supply for Israel!!!

  3. Trump has no right to question anyone’s Judaism. Whether they agree with his approach to Israel or not.
