(TJV NEWS) Left-leaning celebrity Rosie O’Donnell is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons, this time floating a bizarre conspiracy theory about how former President Donald Trump supposedly returned to office — and apparently, it’s all thanks to his buddy Elon Musk, who she claims “runs the internet.”

O’Donnell shared the eyebrow-raising claims during an interview on Ireland’s “Late Late Show” last week after relocating there earlier this month. Rather than addressing real issues that plagued Democrats in the last election cycle — like questionable leadership and last-minute candidate swaps — the actress leaned into fantasy.
“I question why for the first time in American history a president has won every swing state — and is also best friends and his largest donor was a man who owns and runs the internet,” she told host Patrick Kielty.
Of course, Elon Musk does not own or control the internet. He does, however, own X (formerly Twitter), a powerful social media platform.

O’Donnell, best known for A League of Their Own, went on to suggest that Kamala Harris was packing stadiums with enthusiastic crowds, while Trump couldn’t draw interest — a claim at odds with nearly every public rally metric.
“So, I hope that would be investigated,” she added. “And that we would see whether it was an anomaly or it was something else that happened on election night in America.”
She continued, “As an American and a believer in democracy, I would hope that we’d be able to look at all the reasons why this happened in our country.”
Musk caught wind of the clip and shared it on X, where users responded with a wave of amused and sarcastic commentary.
This isn’t the first time O’Donnell has clashed with Trump. Their long-standing feud dates back to her days on The View, where Trump famously criticized her on national TV — and again during his first GOP debate in 2015 with a quip that drew national laughter.
To her credit, at least O’Donnell followed through on her threat to leave the country if Trump won — a promise many others made but never kept.
